PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMILIHAN DESAIN PRODUK COOKWARE PROSPEKTIF (Studi Kasus IKM Cor Aluminium di Yogyakarta)
Various designs cookware products has been launched into the market by
various manufacturers, but the growing demand of current cooking activities that
spurred the design to more innovative and be able to make cookware to meet the
needs of a growing community.
There are three objectives in this study: (a) Developing a framework for
product design selection model in SMEs cast aluminum, (b) Developing product
design selection models with consider to core criteria for product prospective SMEs
that can be used on all stakeholders, and (c) Creating design products with specific
criteria on cookware prospective at cast aluminum SME that will used on a
particular stakeholder. In this research, the MPE and AHP methods used to analyse
design product of cookware prospektive.Framework of product design selection of
cookware prospective proposed consists of 17 steps, which must be performed by a
cast aluminum SMEs stakeholders in the product development program.. Core
criteria prospective product design cookware is : Not Easily Scratched (Disability
and decay), No Effect on Food (Inert), and Good Heat Transfer (Heat Storage).
Specific criteria of prospective cookware products design are Easy to Use and Clean
it, Price Affordable (cheap), and the Safe and Convenient for Users (Lid Glass and
Ergonomic Handle)
PENGARUH TIPE, UKURAN DAN WARNA FONT PANEL INDIKATOR MOBIL LISTRIK TERHADAP WAKTU RESPON PENGEMUDI
Indicator panel for car has been a focus on research for many years since it has
important to secure drivers and passenger from accident or to drive safely. Recent study
which was conducted for 25 respondent show that 96% stated information from indicator
panel adds sense of security, 92% respondents stated concentration was affected from
instrument panel lay out, 93% respondents felt the complexity of the i ndicator panel
trigger an error, and 96% respondents stated that contrast in color, size and font type
affect the visualization driver for receiving the information from the indicator panel. The
purpose of this research is to postulate additional information for designing the most
convenient display panel indicator for the driver to receiving information.
Research design for this study was to examine driver response time by combining
both font color blue RGB (0,0,255) and white RGB (0,0,255

In Product design process, aspects related to the manufacturing process and
supply chain should be considered. The design is produced not only satisfy for
consumers needs but it fulfilled the constraints related to manufacturing and
supply chain aspects. This research aims to make a model to determine the
cheapest product design from both of manufacturing process and supply chain.
This research uses binary programming as an approach. The cost aspects used in
this research are component�s manufacturing cost, supplier fixed contact cost,
assembly operation cost and quality improvement cost. The result of research, a
physical product design with the lowest total cost by combining components from
several designs and adding the value constraint on the quality specification.
