    Designing A Location Tracking Device For Vehicle

    Location tracking device for vehicle is a device that provides location information to the owner of a vehicle. The development of this project is based on GPS (Global Positioning System) information that is provided by sattelites. To capture that information, we need a GPS module component. The users of this device will not automatically get the location information of their vehicle. This device must be manually asked by sending SMS (Short Message Service) to it. By using SMS system in this device, the location of the vehicle can be tracked whenever and wherever the user wants. The combination of this GPS tracking and SMS system is not completed enough for some users. Adding a security control is one of the solution to a condition when the vehicle is going to be stolen. So, this device is equipped by automatic switch or relay to secure the vehicle by switching off or on the electrical system. To know if the vehicle is stolen or not, we attached a movement sensor to the device. The big idea of this device is trying to prevent vehicle thievery. The movement of the vehicle when the owner is not there is the main parameter. When the vehicle is moving unexpectedly, the device will send an SMS text to the owner’s phone. Then the owner is able to track the location of the vehicle and can send an order to the device to switch the electrical system off

    Android Smartphone has become an inseparable item from everyday life that can be used to control various electronic equipment, one example is R / C car. R / C cars are generally controlled by remote controls that use the old technology, which is still using electronic components where in controlling it only by using push button. With a blend of android and arduino phones, R / C cars can be controlled with android phones through the android application interface. This application can take advantage of existing sensors in android phones like accelerometer. This application can be used for remote control manipulation on R / C car remotes. R / C car transmitter is connected to arduino, where arduino also connected with bluetooth module HC-05 as a data transfer device between arduino with Android smartphone via bluetooth. Applications that have been designed using APP INVENTOR 2 software will instruct your android phone to transmit string signal to arduino via bluetooth. The result of this remote control device is to use 2 different applications that can move the car forward, back right and left. But still there is a delay in control, the application of the button on an average time of 12.19 seconds to get through the trajectory zig-zag along the 6 meters, while the accelerometer application reached a record time of 29.73 seconds. With a standard transmitter getting a time of 10.82 seconds, and if searched for a comparison between standard transmitter s: the button application : the accelerometer application is 1 : 1.12 : 2.74. The range of R / C cars is also influenced by the voltage and height of the transmitter, the higher the input voltage value on the transmitter and the R / C car, the range of the distance will be even further

    In the era of digitalization, the food industry has many challenges and one of the main issues si about increasing the quality of production. One the most influential factor in improving this quality is the level of stability of the steam production process is a boiler. In the boiler system, a control device is needed that is able to maintain the stability of the water level. Therefore, a PLC (Programmable Logic Control) based control system is carried out as a control system that is able to collect data from sensors in the field and decide what action needs to be done on the actuator in the form of a control valve for water level stability. The use of PLC equiphment is expected to be able to control an maintain the stability of the water level in the drum. The state of the water level can affect the level of steam production to supply the turbine. Using three elements in the form of two sensors and one level adjuster as control parameters of the drum water level and the transmitter level sensor as an indicator of the water level in the boiler drum. Sensor that can produce an output signal in the form of a current of 4-20mA. The test results of this system, the water level can be maintained by managing the water entering the drum. So that the difference between the sensor readings in the drum and the PLC device is found, which shows the sensitivity level of the sensor value changes with the PLC device.
