    The aim of this research is to increased activity pupils in mathematics learning using group discussion in class IV SDN 03 Suti Semarang Bengkayang. This research method is descriptive , using descriptive methods, qualitative This research is a form of institutional survey. Subjects in this study were fourth grade students numbering 16 people. The procedure uses the research phases : planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The technique of collecting data by observation techniques pupil, teacher observation and tests. While the techniques used in data processing and formula percentage of the average. The results showed an increase in activity of students in the learning of mathematics by using discussion groups. (1). Increased physical activity of students at baseline 25 % to 91.67 % the third cycle increased by 66.67 % to the category of " High " . (2) . Increased mental activity of students at baseline 15.63 % for the third cycle of 75 % increased by 59.37 % to the category of " High Enough ". (3) . Increased activity at baseline pupil emotionally 22.92 % to 91.67 % the third cycle increased by 69.25 % to the category of " High "
