Access to undergraduate research experiences at a large research university
The American Physical Society recently released a statement calling on all
university physics departments to provide or facilitate access to research
experiences for all undergraduate students. In response, we investigated the
current status of access to undergraduate research at University of Colorado
Boulder (CU), a large research institution where the number of undergraduate
physics majors outnumber faculty by roughly ten to one. We created and
administered two surveys within CU's Physics Department: one probed
undergraduate students' familiarity with, and participation in, research; the
other probed faculty members' experiences as research mentors to
undergraduates. We describe the development of these instruments, our results,
and our corresponding evidence-based recommendations for improving local access
to undergraduate research experiences. Reflecting on our work, we make several
connections to an institutional change framework and note how other

This study aims to know how influence intrinsic motivation on teacher performance, how influence transformational leadhership influence on teacher performance, how influence culturerole organizational influence on teacher performance, how influence transformational leadhership moderation intrinsic motivation impact on teacher performance, and how influence culture roleorganizational moderation pedagogic competence impact on teacher performance. In this study population on Teacher in Doro Subdistrict Regency Pekalongan, while the samples used as many142 people as respondents to the random sampling proportional technique. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. Pengaruh Kompetensi Profesional dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kinerja Guru Dimoderasi Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah
This study aimed to analyze the role of the Leadership Principal Moderating Effect of Professional Competence and Motivation for Primary Teachers performance throughout the District Talun Pekalongan. In this study population all primary school teachers in the district Talun civil servants, whereas samples taken as many as 136 people as respondents with purposive sampling technique. Measurements using a Likert scale of 5 (five) alternative answers. Test instruments used are validity and reliability. While the test model used is the coefficient of determination and F test (goodnes of Fit). Test this hypothesis using regression analysis. Based on the results of the study can be summarized as follows: (i) Professional Competence positive and significant impact on teacher performance, (ii) Work Motivation positive and significant impact on teacher performance, (iii) Leadership Principal has no effect on teacher performance, (iv) Leadership Principal does not moderate the influence of professional competence of the teacher performance, (v) Leadership Principal Work Discipline does not moderate influence on Teacher Performance

This research\u27s purpose is to find how the influence of self confident and emotional self control to the teacher\u27sefficacy moderated by Idealized influenced. The study population is a government school teachers in four JuniorHigh School in the district Juwana, Pati regency. Sampling using proportional sampling method . Kepemimpinan Transformasional Memoderasi Pengaruh Self Efficacy dan Kompetensi Profesional terhadap Kinerja Guru Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Petungkriyono Kabupaten Pekalongan
This study aimed to analyze and test the Influence of Professional Competence and Discipline Work on the Performance of elementary school teachers throughout the District Tirto Pekalongan with Organizational Climate moderated.This type of research is a field research (field research), using a quantitative approach. The population in this study is a civil servant teachers in the district elementary Tirto Pekalongan regency totaling 213 teachers. Samples were taken using purposive technique of proportional random sampling, some 139 teachers. Techniques of analysis using multiple linear analysis testing, ² test, and hypothesis testing using t test. Based on the results of the study can be summarized as follows: professional competence has no effect on teacher performance, Work Discipline positive and significant impact on teacher performance, Climate Organizational positive and significant impact on teacher performance, Climate Organizational Professional Competence to strengthen the influence of teacher performance, and Organizational Climate Work Discipline strengthen the influence of the teachers' performance. Pengaruh Budaya Organisasional dan Motvasi terhadap Kinerja Guru Dimediasi Komitmen Organisasional (Studi pada Guru SD di Upt Dindikbud Doro Kabupaten Pekalongan)
Studies in this study about the influence of organizational culture, motivation and organizational commitment on teacher performance. The issues raised in this study were: (1) examine the influence of organizational culture, motivation and organizational commitment on teacher performance. (2) to test whether organizational commitment mediates the organizational culture and motivation of the teacher\u27s performance. The population was 219 elementary school teachers in UPT Dindikbud Doro Pekalongan. Retrieval of data using the formula Slovin population. Using multiple regression analysis model. Results of the study: (1) organizational culture are statistically significant and potif toward organizational commitment, (2) motivation significant and positive impact on organizational commitment, (3) organizational culture proved significant and positive impact on teacher performance, (4) motivation significant and positf on teacher performance, (5) organizational commitment significant and positive impact on teacher performance, (6) organizational commitment mediates the effect is not proven organizational culture on teacher performance. Peran Budaya Organisasi Memoderasi Pengaruh Motivasi Intrinsik, Kecerdasan Emosional dan Kompetensi Profesional terhadap Kinerja Guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Taman Pemalang
This study examined the role of the Moderating Effect of Organizational Culture Intrinsic Motivation, Emotional Intelligence and competence professionel on Performance of State High School Teachers in District Taman. The specific objectives of the study is to examine how the Moderating Role of Organizational Culture Influence Intrinsic Motivation , Emotional Intelligence and competence professionel on Performance Teachers in District Taman. This study describes the USAbility and extend previous research on the Effect of Intrinsic Motivation Emotional Intelligence and competence professionel on Performance Master. The population in this study were high school teachers in the district Taman State totaling 156 people. In this study using primary data obtained by questionnaire. The research method using a computerized approach to the statistical program SPSS ( Statistical Package for Social Science ). The method of data analysis used linear regression to test the moderating effects. The results showed that intrinsic motivation has a positive and significant impact on performance. Emotional intelligence has is not positive and not significant impact on performance. Competence Professionel has a positive and significant impact on performance .. Organizational culture moderates the effect of intrinsic motivation has an effect on performance is not positive and not significant. While organizational culture moderates the influence of emotional intelligence is not significant to the performance of teachers. Organizational culture moderates the effec of competence professional is not significant to the performance of theachers.
