    By a recursive transfermatrix-method numerically exact results are calculated for small random Ising lattices in two dimensions. We study two spinglas-models, a random model without frustration and an Ising ferromagnet with random magnetic field. The equilibrium properties of the above models are developed. The main result is that in spin glasses exists a phase transition only at T=O. The results suggest that for systems of macroscopic size the correct thermal equilibrium is probably irrelevant for experimental purposes
