Membangun Sistem Operasi “Viwebos” Berbasiskan Web
Internet is one of the supporting elements participating in the development of current technology. Almost all activity can be done online, quickly and easily with just a web page accessible through the Internet. All services on the Internet aim to facilitate users in obtaining information and services as expected. Those services are then used as an inspiration to build a web based operating system that allows users to access and process data anytime and anywhere using just an Internet connection and a web browser. ViwebOS is a web based operating system that running on the web browser. Simply type http://www.viwebos.com to run ViwebOS on the web browser's address bar. Users must have an account to use ViwebOS. ViwebOS's registration page allows a user to register an account. After login, each user can use available applications and can access all files stored in the current directory respectively. The web application can be exploited and developed into a web-based operating system that can be accessed online through the Internet and running with a web browser. The resources provided by the web browser allows a web-based operating system to be used for accessing, storing and processing data online
Elección de un S.O adecuado para el funcionamiento de la plataforma SIRUTP
Las plataformas web necesitan de una forma de acceder a estas, una tecnología que les permita cumplir con el objetivo con el que fueron creadas, SIRUTP, por ejemplo, hará uso de dispositivos móviles para cumplir con tal objetivo. Buscando prestar un servicio agradable con el usuario final de la plataforma, se hace necesario elegir qué sistema operativo posibilitara tal fin. La búsqueda de este sistema operativo se compone de la investigación a profundidad de las cualidades específicas que ofrece cada uno, definiendo unas características que ayudaran a medir la afinidad de cada uno de estos con lo que busca la plataforma y contraponiendo esto con las cualidades encontradas. Finalmente, la elección del sistema operativo que se instalara en los dispositivos móviles con los que se accederá a SIRUTP, se realizara mediante la ponderación de las contraposiciones de las cualidades encontradas en cada sistema operativo con las características definidas para su medición
A Practical Approach to Protect IoT Devices against Attacks and Compile Security Incident Datasets
open access articleThe Internet of Things (IoT) introduced the opportunity of remotely manipulating home appliances (such as heating systems, ovens, blinds, etc.) using computers and mobile devices. This idea fascinated people and originated a boom of IoT devices together with an increasing demand that was difficult to support. Many manufacturers quickly created hundreds of devices implementing functionalities but neglected some critical issues pertaining to device security. This oversight gave rise to the current situation where thousands of devices remain unpatched having many security issues that manufacturers cannot address after the devices have been produced and deployed. This article presents our novel research protecting IOT devices using Berkeley Packet Filters (BPFs) and evaluates our findings with the aid of our Filter.tlk tool, which is able to facilitate the development of BPF expressions that can be executed by GNU/Linux systems with a low impact on network packet throughput

Crafting a Systematic Literature Review on Open-Source Platforms
This working paper unveils the crafting of a systematic literature review on
open-source platforms. The high-competitive mobile devices market, where
several players such as Apple, Google, Nokia and Microsoft run a platforms- war
with constant shifts in their technological strategies, is gaining increasing
attention from scholars. It matters, then, to review previous literature on
past platforms-wars, such as the ones from the PC and game-console industries,
and assess its implications to the current mobile devices platforms-war. The
paper starts by justifying the purpose and rationale behind this literature
review on open-source platforms. The concepts of open-source software and
computer-based platforms were then discussed both individually and in unison,
in order to clarify the core-concept of 'open-source platform' that guides this
literature review. The detailed design of the employed methodological strategy
is then presented as the central part of this paper. The paper concludes with
preliminary findings organizing previous literature on open-source platforms

Teknologi telah menjadi kebutuhan yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kehidupan manusia. Bahkan tak dapat dipungkiri lagi bahwa kehidupan manusia telah dikelilingi dengan teknologi, terutama teknologi komputer dan telepon seluler misalnya Smartphone. Semakin murahnya perangkat teknologi smartphone ini dan semakin banyaknya fitur yang disediakan sehingga banyak orang telah menggunakannya. Beberapa perangkat smartphone yang biasa digunakan diantaranya AndroidPhone, iPhone dan Blackberry. Sangat penting mengenalkan teknologi pada anak, namun pengenalan teknologi yang bermanfaat jangan sampai memberikan efek yang buruk pada perkembangan anak, sehingga orang tua perlu menyediakan aplikasi yang mendidik dan benar-benar bermanfaat bagi perkembangan anak. Saat ini banyak anak kecil yang sudah mahir menggunakan handphone maupun komputer meskipun hanya bermain game saja, namun sebagai orang tua harus mengontrol dan mengawasi penggunaannya. Banyak aplikasi yang bersifat permainan namun juga mendidik, yang tersedia pada smartphone, baik yang sifatnya gratis ataupun berbayar. Perancangan Sistem Dan Denah Bazaar Dengan Memanfaatkan Canvas HTML5 Berbasis Website Dan Android
At present, almost every organizers holds an attractive bazaar due to the growing number of enthusiasts who want to join bazaar. Bazaar can be an alternative place to sell new product and introduce the local product to the general society. Booking booth process in bazaar still using manual system, which tenant fills the order form and then the form is scanned to be sent to the organizer of the event via e-email. Once the booking is received, event organizer has to check and make a registration list of tenants whom will join the bazaar. Therefore there is a need to have an information system to help both eventorganizer and tenant to make a better booking process. Aplication Bazaar based on Android and website intends to help user do all booking process efficiently.Application based on mobile assist tenant in making reservation from fill form until payment order. It helps tenant to search for information about the bazaar which will be held in accordance with bazaar categories of interest and can follow event, so tenant will be easier to get bazaar information. In addition, application based on website helps event organizer to manage the whole process from booking to the payment which received from tenant order, then event organizer can edit event map in order to facilitate tenant when choose a booth at the bazaar.The test results which obatained have two modules, Mobile Application based on Android for tenant and application website for event organizer. Mobile Application can make a booking in bazaar, can get a notification, follow the event, displaying order data. Application website for the event organizer can manage the whole order and payment from tenant, and can edit map event to help tenant make an order. From the test of mobile application that have been done, 50% of respondents rate the app is overall good, and 42% of respondent rate the app overall very good. For Website Application, event organizer has satified with the existing features on the website
THE NEW “UNIVERSAL TRUTH” OF THE WORLD WIDE WEB
We all see that the world wide web is permanently evolving and developing. New websites are created continuously and push the limits of the old HTML specs in all respects. HTML4 is the real standard for almost 10 years and developers are starting to look for new and improved technologies to help them provide greater functionality. In order to give the authors flexibility and interoperability and to enable much more interactive and innovative websites and applications, HTML5 introduces and enhances a large set of features, such as new form elements, APIs, multimedia elements, structure and semantics updates. The development of HTML5, started in 2004, is currently carried out by a joint effort of the W3C HTMLWG and the WHATWG organizations. A lot of important companies participate in this effort, including the largest browser developers: Microsoft, Mozilla, Opera and Apple. The specifications of the new “to be” standard is still work in progress and quite a way lies ahead before its completion. Why the iPhone Won't Last Forever and What the Government Should Do to Promote its Successor
Because of the overwhelming, positive response to the iPhone as compared to other smart phones, exclusive agreements between handset makers and wireless carriers have come under increasing scrutiny by regulators and lawmakers. In this paper, we document the myriad revolutions that have occurred in the mobile handset market over the past twenty years. Although casual observers have often claimed that a particular innovation was here to stay, they commonly are proven wrong by unforeseen developments in this fast-changing marketplace. We argue that exclusive agreements can play an important role in helping to ensure that another must-have device will soon come along that will supplant the iPhone, and generate large benefits for consumers. These agreements, which encourage risk taking, increase choice, and frequently lower prices, should be applauded by the government. In contrast, government regulation that would require forced sharing of a successful break-through technology is likely to stifle innovation and hurt consumer welfare.
