Analysis of Visual Communication of Telkom University Endowment and Alumni Directorate Based on User Satisfaction Level using The User Satisfaction Index Method
Most of the universities in Indonesia, especially private universities rely on tuition fees as the main income for their operational cost., one of the solutions is the Endowment Fund, Telkom university has it, namely Endowment and Alumni Directorate (EAD) of Telkom University. Telkom University has managed the Endowment Fund program, but until now it has not been very successful, because the achievement of the target funds collected is far under target. The results of the initial identification show that one of the main media for promotion is the website of the Telkom University Endowment and Alumni Directorate. In this study, prospective donors were assessed on the appearance, content, and message delivered on the website of Telkom University Endowment and Alumni Directorate using the user satisfaction index method. The result of the USI index is 43.64% of overall user assessment of the website, which indicates that the website is still low.

Multimedia-Based Visual Analysis as a Promotional Media at Raharja Internet Cafe (RIC)
The development of visual communication media is currently widely used as a means of promotion and information technology. By following the development of information technology today, the delivery of information is no longer presented in the conventional form, but now it has been widely applied in electronic form. One of the results of the development of information technology that can be used as a medium for delivering interesting information can be in the form of Graphic Design such as Online Posters and images uploaded on social media. Raharja Internet Cafe or often called RIC is one of the facilities located at Raharja University. Providing all personal needs Raharja in carrying out lecture activities such as Print, Scan, install iPad, also provides accessories for technological devices such as computers and iPads, besides that RIC also serves computer and iPad services. However, RIC still has problems in presenting information relevant to existing developments. Millennials today tend to get and search for information by accessing social media compared to accessing a website. This is one of the important things that must be applied to Raharja Internet Cafe in conducting socialization and marketing. Therefore, the author was given the opportunity to be able to do the Job Training Lecture (KKP) on Raharja Internet Cafe to apply the knowledge gained in the lecture curriculum. Then the author also gained a lot of knowledge about the world of work that had not previously been obtained in the lecture process. Which in the end, each task and the work that has been done by the author while carrying out the Job Training Lecture (KKP), will be summarized in the Job Training Lecture report
Analysis of Visual Mascot Cimahi City with a Semiotic Approach C.S. Pierce
The city mascot as one of the supporting elements in the effort to improve the image of cities in Indonesia still leaves a lot of land for research. The research on the visual mascot of the city of Cimahi departs from a search effort on the mascot of the city in Indonesia as a complement to the research that has been done. The existence of the Cimahi city mascot itself can be said to be the pioneer of city mascot in Indonesia, which started from the idea of the first mayor of the city of Cimahi in 2009, Itoc Tochija during the second period of his reign. The idea was then only realized visually in 2013 during the mayor Atty Suharti Tochija. The Cimahi city mascot named Chima has a unique visual to position Cimahi as an autonomous city and promotion of the 3C (Cimahi Creative Cyber City) program. The Chima embodiment process is a long process carried out by the Cimahi City Investment Office as the executor of the task. This cultural phenomenon can be analyzed with the Semiotic scientific approach. Semiotics is the science of signs that presupposes a series of assumptions and concepts that enable us to analyze symbolic systems systematically. According to CS. Peirce, the science of semiotics is based on the logic that studies how people reason and reasoning is done through signs. These signs according to Peirce allow us to think, relate to others and give meaning. This research will reveal the relationship between the symbolic form of the mascot and the implied meaning and the results of people's perceptions so that they can be used as a basis for the better manifestation of similar works.

Visual Analysis Of Children Books Illustration As a Psychiatric Therapy
One of the most acute urban problems is the emergence of psychiatric problems caused by the acceleration of daily routine. These psychiatric problems not only suffered by adults, but also children. These children generally have a problem called B.L.A.S.T. (Bored, Lonely, Angry-Afraid, Sad, Tired). To overcome this problem, there are a number of ways, including reading. Since 1802, Benjamin Rush, the father of United States psychiatry, recommends reading as part of therapy for patients with mental disorders. This therapy also applies for children by adding more illustrations wihin the books. This study analyzed three illustrated books that read by children in Indonesia from ages 7-13 years. The Illustrations analyzed by Roland Barthes's semiotic approach, to get conclusions regarding how illustration have a positive psychiatric therapy impact on children. The finding and results based on semiotic approach that, books mentioned above have the potential to overcome of B.L.A.S.T. because it contains two functions, education and entertainment. This assumption supported by theoritical view of psychologist Jean Piaget, things that educate and entertain are two important elements as a therapy for many kinds of psychiatric problems.

Visual analysis of document triage data
As part of the information seeking process, a large amount of effort is invested in order to study and understand how information seekers search through documents such that they can assess their relevance. This search and assessment of document relevance, known as document triage, is an important information seeking process, but is not yet well understood. Human-computer interaction (HCI) and digital library scientists have undertaken a series of user studies involving information seeking, collected a large amount of data describing information seekers' behavior during document search. Next to this, we have witnessed a rapid increase in the number of off-the-shelf visualization tools which can benefit document triage study. Here we set out to utilize existing information visualization techniques and tools in order to gain a better understanding of the large amount of user-study data collected by HCI and digital library researchers. We describe the range of available tools and visualizations we use in order to increase our knowledge of document triage. Treemap, parallel coordinates, stack graph, matrix chart, as well as other visualization methods, prove to be insightful in exploring, analyzing and presenting user behavior during document triage. Our findings and visualizations are evaluated by HCI and digital library researchers studying this proble
Visual analysis for drum sequence transcription
A system is presented for analysing drum performance video sequences. A novel ellipse detection algorithm is introduced that automatically locates drum tops. This algorithm fits ellipses to edge clusters, and ranks them according to various fitness criteria. A background/foreground segmentation method is then used to extract the silhouette of the drummer and drum sticks. Coupled with a motion
intensity feature, this allows for the detection of ‘hits’ in each of the extracted regions. In order to obtain a transcription of the performance, each of these regions is automatically labeled with the corresponding instrument class. A partial audio transcription and color cues are used to measure the compatibility between a region and its label, the Kuhn-Munkres algorithm is then employed to find the optimal labeling. Experimental results demonstrate the ability of visual analysis to enhance the performance of an audio drum transcription system
Neuron analysis of visual perception
The receptive fields of single cells in the visual system of cat and squirrel monkey were studied investigating the vestibular input affecting the cells, and the cell's responses during visual discrimination learning process. The receptive field characteristics of the rabbit visual system, its normal development, its abnormal development following visual deprivation, and on the structural and functional re-organization of the visual system following neo-natal and prenatal surgery were also studied. The results of each individual part of each investigation are detailed
