On examples of difference operators for {0,1}\{0,1\}-valued functions over finite sets

Recently V.I.Arnold have formulated a geometrical concept of monads and apply it to the study of difference operators on the sets of $\{0,1\}$-valued sequences of length $n$. In the present note we show particular examples of these monads and indicate one question arising here

L'examen des politiques monétaires d'assouplissement quantitatif

Ce travail propose l’examen des mesures d’assouplissement quantitatif qui sont l’un des grands sujets d’actualité dans le monde des politiques monétaires et des Banques Centrales. Dans un premier temps, les fondements théoriques ainsi que les risques potentiels liés à ces mesures seront décrit. De surcroît, le rôle et le mandat des Banques Centrales seront aussi évoqués. Dans un deuxième temps, cette mesure sera illustrée par l’étude de trois situations où cette dernière a été adoptée par les autorités monétaires. Finalement, ces analyses permettront de démontrer les effets positifs et négatifs de ces politiques monétaires ainsi que les différentes applications possibles

Art’s asymptotic leadership:Arts leadership, education and the loss of autonomy

This article will mostly engage with arts leadership through a discussion that focuses on the arts, leadership and education, and how their convergence might have a direct impact on autonomy. Taking a meta-theoretical approach, the main argument is that arts leadership is an asymptotic state of affairs. Rather than pose art and leadership as antithetical events that necessitate forms of syntheses through identifiable contexts, the context for arts leadership represents a contiguous space where art and leadership continuously seek a mutual way of preserving their integrity in an asymptotic relationship. If this relationship turns into a synthesis, both art’s autonomy and the ability to lead creatively are neutralized. The aim is to question the various implications that bring together the autonomous spheres of the arts, education and leadership, while inviting the reader to draw his or her own conclusions critically and autonomously. To clarify this approach, this article straddles across several horizons, including: arts practice as a sphere of autonomous dispositions and the political implications that follow; education as a horizon that educes - leads out - through the pedagogical exits that are offered by the arts; and art’s anti-systemic pedagogy, where art’s autonomy becomes a possibility of unlearning systems.<br/

Superconductivity and antiferromagnetism in the two-dimensional Hubbard model: a variational study

A variational ground state of the repulsive Hubbard model on a square lattice is investigated numerically for an intermediate coupling strength (U=8t) and for moderate sizes (from 6×6 to 10×10). Our ansatz is superior to other widely used variational wave functions. The results for order parameters and correlation functions provide insight into the antiferromagnetic state at half-filling as well as strong evidence for a superconducting phase away from half-filling
