MATHCAD – a Tool for Numerical Calculation of Square-Wave Voltammograms
An alternative approach for numerical calculation of the square-wave voltammograms using the mathematical
programming package MATHCAD is presented. A quasi-reversible redox reaction is considered and a mathematical
model is developed under conditions of the square-wave voltammetry (SWV). Application of the mathematical model
in MATHCAD is discussed and the file used for numerical simulation is presented. The relationships between the
properties of the SW response and the parameters of both the quasireversible redox reaction and the excitation signal
are discussed
Developing a program for calculating the volume of earthwork
When constructing a facility, earthworks have a great impact on the cost of the project. Calculating the\ud
volume of earthwork is therefore a common procedure in the field of Geodesy. Because of the\ud
frequency of the procedure it is smart to make it as efficient and automated as possible. This bachelor\ud
thesis deals with calculating volumes of excavations and volumes of embankments. The emphasis of\ud
the thesis is in the practical case study where we developed a computer program for calculating the\ud
volume of earthwork. The program is written in Java language
The analytic hierarchy process as a support for decision making
The first part of this text deals with a convention site selection as one of the most lucrative areas in the tourism industry. The second part gives a further description of a method for decision making - the analytic hierarchy process. The basic characteristics: hierarchy constructions and pair wise comparison on the given level of the hierarchy are allured. The third part offers an example of application. This example is solved using the Super - Decision software, which is developed as a computer support for the analytic hierarchy process. This indicates that the AHP approach is a useful tool to help support a decision of convention site selection.
Creation of a 3D-model wall front using a videotacheometer Topcon GPT-7003i and software produced by Topcon
This diploma thesis contains a practical review of the creation of a 3D-model wall front, from preparing data to its realization. The main feature of this task is the use of a videotacheometer Topcon GPT-7003i and software produced by Topcon (TopSURV, Topcon Link, PI-Calib, PI- 3000). The main purpose was to collect all necessary data in order to create a 3D model, exclusively using the videotacheometer GPT-7003i. It came to the acknowledgement that the sensor of the instrument does not assure enough quality images, so Nikon D70 camera was used instead. The measurements with this instrument are made in the TopSURV software program, which is loaded on the videotacheometer’s internal disk. This program provides coordinates and measurements, which can be exported to the Topcon Link software on the personal computer. Topcon Link allows corrections and adjustments and exports those measurements to other formats. Pi-Calib is a simple software for implementing camera calibration - interior orientation of the camera. The creation of the 3D model is carried out in the PI-3000 software. After importing the data (control points, check points and images) in this software, the first task is to conduct the exterior orientation of the stereopairs. Then the depth of the points needs to be measured and the borders on the places where the depth of the model has changed have to be determined with polygons. The next task is to create a TIN and texture of the model. The final product is a 3D model of the wall front, the evaluation of the practicability of the software used and the instructions for using this software. VI

Kartoteka wzorcowa Uniwersalnej Klasyfikacji Dziesiętnej w Bibliotece Narodowej w kontekście zmian w kartotekach wzorcowych bibliotek zagranicznych
This article describes some work undertaken in the National Library on the Universal Decimal Classification. This study presents a method of analysis based on the literature and case study of model card-index undertaken abroad. Ways of presenting the classification of languages in selected library catalogs and summaries of reference are described. This analysis is based on the assumption according to which the creation of model card-index should be preceded by the change of UKD records from horizontal to vertical form. The ways of using vertically written UKD records in National Library are described. This article presents the stages of developing the model card-index. Fields and subfields separated from the structure format of the classification are described. The structure and content created in the National Library in the system MAK with reference to the model card-index are also presented.W artykule omówiono podjęte w Bibliotece Narodowej prace nad kartoteką wzorcową Uniwersalnej Klasyfikacji Dziesiętnej. W opracowaniu zastosowano metodę analizy piśmiennictwa i przypadków kartotek wzorcowych w bibliotekach za granicą. Przedstawiono sposoby prezentacji języków klasyfikacyjnych w wybranych katalogach bibliotecznych i kartotekach wzorcowych. Analiza ta pozwoliła na przyjęcie założenia, zgodnie z którym powstanie kartoteki wzorcowej powinna poprzedzić zmiana zapisu symboli UKD z poziomego na pionowy. Opisano, przyjęty w Bibliotece Narodowej, sposób zapisywania symboli UKD w pionie. Przedstawiono etapy powstawania kartoteki wzorcowej UKD. Omówiono pola i podpola wyodrębnione ze struktury formatu dla klasyfikacji. Opisano strukturę i zawartość, utworzonej w Bibliotece Narodowej w systemie MAK, kartoteki wzorcowej UKD
