International audienceBusiness processes interoperability is an impor-tant issue for distributed applications in collaborative envi-ronments. This problem is further complicated in dynamiccollaborative environments where stakeholders can quit thenetwork and be replaced by new ones. To date, existingapproaches do not provide the necessary flexibility to handlethe dynamic nature of the network. In this work a formalframework is developed which combines cross-organizationalprocess specifications with mediation-based solutions to ensurebusiness processes interoperability. The concepts defined inthis framework are used to build flexible collaboration con-tracts that better handle the dynamicity of the network. Theapplicability of the framework has been illustrated througha real-life industrial use-case in the aerospace industry forcollaborative aircraft design process. The proposed frameworkprovides higher level concepts than existing process modelinglanguages which better captures the business intent behind thecollaboratio
