Smart education becomes the inevitable trend of the global education. With the rapid international tourism development, it becomes a new issue in China to explore how to cultivate qualified tourism graduates with proficient English skills from vocational colleges in terms of smart education. Therefore, this paper aims at discussing Chinaā€™s current teaching problems of tourism majorsā€™ core course-Tourism English. There are four characteristics of micro-class, namely short-time, fine and concise, interesting, and small-volume resource. The researcher finds raised issues in the teaching classroom include monotonous teaching methods, lack of practice field, inappropriate teaching materials and short of professional teaching staff. In conclusion to solve these problems, the researcher gives three recommendations on Tourism-English micro-class teaching as follows: (1) Realize multiple and open teaching mode, and three dimensions openness of time, space and structure; (2) Increase financial and construction support from the college; (3) Establish the evaluation system of the tourism students' learning achievements in micro-class teaching. As highly information-based the smart education has just started, we should make full use of micro-lesson to improve English Teaching level in vocational colleges, to cultivate students' autonomous learning ability, to cultivate innovative and creative professional tourism talents

As a new economic form following agricultural economy and industrial economy, digital economy is the key to realizing lane changing and overtaking in Chinaā€™s economy, and has attracted the attention of all sectors of society. The integration of digital economy and rural industry is in line with the rural revitalization strategy, and has created a large number of new models and new sources of income for rural areas in recent years. Compared with the more mature rural digital economy exploration abroad, China's rural digital economy is slightly immature. Focusing on the powerful driving force of digital economy, this paper expounds the development opportunities of digital economy in rural agriculture, explores the main innovation models of rural digital economy in China, and analyzes the problems encountered in practice and countermeasures

Research background: Informatization is a new economic form arising from a new round of technological and industrial changes. Information technology has been used to promote the integrated development of the tourism industry and propel technological innovation, which will help accelerate the achievement of the strategic goals of carbon emission peaking and carbon neutrality. Chinaā€™s informatization level has improved to a certain extent due to the concentration of capital and technological innovation brought about by the government-led model, and also owing to the consumer dynamics released by the industry-side reform.Research contents and methods: This study constructs a panel vector auto-regression model to investigate the impact of tourism industry development and technological innovation on informatization based on Chinese provincial statistics from 2010 to 2019. This study adopts the entropy method, Monte Carlo simulation, variance decomposition, and pulse response to investigate the impact, characteristics, and trends of their interactions. Results: First, tourism industry development, technological innovation, and informatization all experience inertia development and have self-reinforcing mechanisms during the research period. Second, tourism industry development and technological innovation have a significantly positive impact on the enhancement of informatization, and their influence presents a trend, from upward to downward. Third, tourism industry development has a positive impact on technological innovation, and the response trend presents a curve approximately inverted U-shape. Fourth, from the results of variance decomposition, the contribution of technological innovation to the improvement of informatization level increases rapidly and reaches 18.5% and then levels off. The contribution rate of tourism industry development to the improvement of informatization level gradually rises and reaches 5.1%, finally tending to be stable.Contribution: This study reveals that tourism industry development and technological innovation will exert different pulling effects on informatization at different development stages in China and their advantages and provides theoretical contributions to tourism industry development and technological innovation on the advancement of informatization level. The research results provide a reference basis for the government and related industrial sectors in how to effectively facilitate the development of informatization in the context of the low-carbon economy

The aim of this paper is to investigate the role of digital transformation (DT) and how it helps companies to face the challenges of a competitive dynamic market. Digital business transformation is a necessity for companies that want to survive in the modern world. Contemporary conditions of market competition are characterized by the digitization of economies and its current progress, as well as all related consequential changes in that process. Digital transformation changes the business organization in all segments and affects not only companies, but also society, the environment and institutions. In this paper, we discuss the hotel sector and listed some of the examples used to shed light on how digital transformation has affected business and contributed to sustainable development. The goal of the research was to point out the need for rapid digital transformation in the hotel industry, and to emphasize the importance of sustainable development in tourism using the benefits that digital transformation provides. In its initial part, the paper will provide an overview of the current literature on digital transformation and a definition of the mentioned terminology. The second section of the paper discusses the status of digital transformation in the hotel industry and its positive impact on sustainable development. In the latter section of the paper limitations are provided, and implications for future research are considered
