Teletrabalho: Passado!
No período pré-pandémico,
Contudo, a pandemia veio
evidenciar os condicionalismos do teletrabalho tradicional, particularmente a nível
psicossocial.
The growing evolution of Information and Communication Technologies brings new
opportunities in the most diverse domains, both at a personal and professional level. In
this sense, the search for more favorable and flexible working conditions and a better
balance between professional and personal life gives rise to an alternative work method,
called SmartWorking.
Remote working, colloquially known as teleworking, refers to full-time remote work,
and this method of working is known to a large part of the world's working population
because of the pandemic. In the pre-pandemic period, a weak spread of telework was
observed in comparison to the growing evolution of ICT, and the reason for this
paradoxical relationship was subject of study. However, the pandemic highlighted the
constraints of traditional telework, particularly at the psychosocial level. In view of this,
a new face of telework emerges, called SmartWorking, which consists of practices that
streamline and make more flexible the exercise of the work activity, effectively giving
autonomy of work to the worker.
In this context, this dissertation seeks to understand how SmartWorking practices can
bridge the gaps and constraints of traditional telework and realize the benefits and
advantages of it. It is also intended to assess the future trend for these new agile work
models in the post-pandemic period
