Development of fabrication facility for braid composite: structures.
This report gives the progress of work of the AR & DB
sponsored project during the period April 1936 to December 1987. Preliminary design of the braiding facility was carried out and a layout of the facility was carried. Specifications of the microcomputer based electronic controller required for the braiding facility were drafted and enquiries were sent for

Structural parsing
Parsing is an essential part of natural language processing. In this paper, structural parsing, which is based on the theory of knowledge graphs, is introduced. Under consideration of the semantic and syntactic features of natural language, both semantic and syntactic word graphs are formed. Grammar rules are derived from the syntactic word graphs. Due to the distinctions between Chinese and English, the grammar rules are given for the Chinese version and the English version of syntactic word graphs respectively. By traditional parsing a parse tree can then be given for a sentence, that can be used to map the sentence on a sentence graph. This is called structural parsing. The relationship with utterance paths is discussed. As a result, chunk indicators are proposed to guide structural parsing
Structural panels
Vinyl pyridines including vinyl stilbazole materials and vinyl styrylpyridine oligomer materials are disclosed. These vinylpyridines form copolymers with bismaleimides which copolymers have good fire retardancy and decreased brittleness. The cure temperatures of the copolymers are substantially below the cure temperatures of the bismaleimides alone. Reinforced composites made from the cured copolymers are disclosed as well
Structural heat pipe
When solar heat is absorbed through the structural support member it is fed directly to a heat pipe. Energy is transferred by heat pipe around to a cooler spot before it can find its way to the structure. This prevents local hot spots from occurring on the sun side and excessive heat leaks on the dark side
Reinforced structural plastics
Reinforced polyimide structures are described. Reinforcing materials are impregnated with a suspension of polyimide prepolymer and bonded together by heat and pressure to form a cured, hard-reinforced, polyimide structure
Turbocharger Structural Integrity
Since the introduction of Euro VI in January 2014, all new diesel powered commercial vehicles have been equipped with turbocharged engines. It is virtually impossible to meet these emission regulations without using a turbocharger. Similarly, in the passenger car sector both on diesel and petrol (gasoline) powered vehicles, legislative pressure to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide are seeing the introduction of turbochargers across almost all new power units. Future legislation will continue this trend with engine manufacturers becoming increasingly reliant on turbocharging. As well as increasing the requirement for turbochargers, these external factors are also demanding that turbochargers become more responsive with reduced rotor inertia and lower thermal inertias. This in turn makes the task of ensuring that turbocharger components remain fit for purpose for the life of the turbocharger that much more difficult. In this paper some of the recent developments in turbocharger technology will be identified and the demands that these place on the structural components will be explored. The limitations of current methods of structural integrity assessment for some of these components will be discussed. Future developments of these methods will then be proposed

Structural parameterizations for boxicity
The boxicity of a graph is the least integer such that has an
intersection model of axis-aligned -dimensional boxes. Boxicity, the problem
of deciding whether a given graph has boxicity at most , is NP-complete
for every fixed . We show that boxicity is fixed-parameter tractable
when parameterized by the cluster vertex deletion number of the input graph.
This generalizes the result of Adiga et al., that boxicity is fixed-parameter
tractable in the vertex cover number.
Moreover, we show that boxicity admits an additive -approximation when
parameterized by the pathwidth of the input graph.
Finally, we provide evidence in favor of a conjecture of Adiga et al. that
boxicity remains NP-complete when parameterized by the treewidth.Comment: 19 page
