Wave probing system with optimal mutual orientation of transmitting and receiving arrays for visualization of scattering objects

Предложена система для широкополосного волнового зондирования с множеством излучателей и множеством приёмников. Элементы в решётке излучателей и в решётке приёмников упорядочены в гексагональную сетку одинаковым шагом. Решётки расположены в одной плоскости, но повёрнуты на оптимально подобранный угол, что существенно снижает уровень артефактов при сохранении высокого разрешения восстанавливаемых волновых изображений. Система может быть реализована как для радиоволн в скалярном приближении, так и для ультразвуковых волн. Изготовлена система ультразвукового зондирования в воздухе из 32 излучателей и 61 приёмника с полосой рабочих частот от 38 до 43 кГц, что позволяет получать разрешение до 10 мм в параллельной плоскости и 60 мм по дальности. Для оцифровки применена технология субдискретизации на частоте 18 кГц. Экспериментальными исследованиями подтверждена возможность получения ультразвуковых изображений высокого разрешения с помощью предложенной системы

The files on this record represent the various databases that originally composed the CD-ROM issue of "Abstracts on Radio Direction Finding" database, which is now part of the Dudley Knox Library's Abstracts and Selected Full Text Documents on Radio Direction Finding (1899 - 1995) Collection. (See Calhoun record https://calhoun.nps.edu/handle/10945/57364 for further information on this collection and the bibliography). Due to issues of technological obsolescence preventing current and future audiences from accessing the bibliography, DKL exported and converted into the three files on this record the various databases contained in the CD-ROM. Abstracts of manuscripts submitted in 1990 for publication

This volume contans the abstracts of manuscripts submitted for publication during calendar year 1990 by the staff and students of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. We identify the journal of those manuscripts which are in press or have been published. The volume is intended to be informative, but not a bibliography. The abstracts are listed by title in the Table of Contents and are grouped into one of our five deparments, Marine Policy Center, Coastal Research Center, or the student category. An author index is presented in the back to facilitate locating specific papers
