    Globalization has affected many countries. There has been a drastic increase in the economic activities and consumption level, leading to expansion of travel and transportation. The increase in the vehicles, traffic lead to road accidents. Considering the importance of the road safety, government is trying to identify the causes of road accidents to reduce the accidents level. The exponential increase in the accidents data is making it difficult to analyse the constraints causing the road accidents. The paper describes how to mine frequent patterns causing road accidents from collected data set. We find associations among road accidents and predict the type of accidents for existing as wel as for new roads. We make use of association and classification rules to discover the patterns between road accidents and as well as predict road accidents for new roads

    Анализируются условия движения и риска возникновения аварий в зоне нерегулируемых пешеходных переходов. Выявлена необходимость совершенствования организации дорожного движения. В качестве альтернативы может рассматриваться установка искусственной неровности. Выполнен анализ эффективности применения искусственных неровностей на дорожной сети городов. Проведены статистические исследования аварийности на искусственных неровностях в различных городах Республики Беларусь. Получены значения снижения аварийности и тяжести последствий аварий при установке искусственной неровности в зоне нерегулируемых пешеходных переходов; установлено, что число аварий с пострадавшими снижается, а число аварий с материальным ущербом растет. = The analysis of driving conditions and the risk of road accidents in the area unregulated pedestrian crossing. Identified the need to improve road traffic management. Alternatively it can be seen setting the speed hump. The analysis of the effectiveness of the speed humps on the road network of cities. A statistical study of road accidents on the speed humps in different cities of Belarus. The values of reduction of road accidents and severity of road accidents when installing the speed hump in the area unregulated pedestrian crossing. Found that the number of road accidents with victims decreased, while the number of road accidents with material damage is growing

Such strategy can hardly be found in Indonesia, the country that facing with serious problem in road accidents. Road safety action plans, those carried out to mitigate road accidents in some countries, were presented. In addition the paper also suggested the actions have to be taken to make better road accidents situation in Indonesia
