STUDY OF STRUCTURAL CHANGES IN THE COLLAGEN MATERIAL MODYFIED BY PLASMA METHODS
A study of changes in the structure of the protein component of natural collagen-containing material was made. By the x-ray diffraction analysis was found that the molecular structure of the protein does not change when a high frequency plasma exposed on a material. The application of nanostructured coatings from the plasma phase also does not change the structure of the substrate
SIMULATION OF MYOCARDIAL TISSUE SLAB MECHANICS
This study presents the pilot results of a myocardial tissue slab computer simulation. The simulation use Luo-Rudy I (1991) electrophysiology model of the cardiomyocites and Kerchoffs et. al (2003) active mechanical model. We study the sensitivity of a final configuration of the myocardial tissue slab to computational mesh properties. The experiments show increasing of the tissue slab rotation with the decreasing of the computational mesh element size
