Secure Routing Protocol for Integrated UMTS and WLAN Ad Hoc Networks

The integrated UMTS and WLAN ad hoc networks are getting more and more popular as they hold substantial advantages by next generation networks. We introduce a new secure, robust routing protocol specifically designed for next generation technologies and evaluated its performance. The design of the SNAuth_SPERIPv2 secure routing protocol takes advantage to the integrated network, maintaining Quality of Service (QoS) under Wormhole Attack (WHA). A comparison of OSPFv3 and EIGRPv6 in a small IPv6 enterprise network

As the Internet slowly transitions towards IPv6, the routing protocols that are used to forward traffic across this global network must adapt to support this gradual transition. Two of the most frequently discussed interior dynamic routing protocols today are the IETF’s OSPF and Cisco’s EIGRP routing protocol. A wealth of papers have compared OSPF and EIGRP in terms of converge times and resource usage, however few papers have assessed the performance of each when implementing their respective security mechanisms. Therefore a comparison of OSPFv3 and EIGRPv6 will be conducted using dedicated Cisco hardware. This paper will firstly introduce each protocol and its security mechanisms, before conducting a comparison of OSPFv3 and EIGRPv6 using Cisco equipment. After discussing the simulation results, a conclusion will be drawn to reveal the findings of this paper and which protocol performs the best upon implementing their respective security mechanisms within a small IPv6 enterprise network

La prueba de habilidades en el siguiente trabajo busca identificar las competencias que se generaron después de haber cursado los 2 módulos de CCNA, en los cuales se integraron conceptos básicos de las redes, direccionamiento ip, seguridad, topología física, tipología lógica, implementación de seguridad de la red administración de dispositivos y gestión de recursos para la implementación de redes CISCO, es importante además destacar que cada uno de los parámetros que se ejecutaron buscaban solucionar un problema en particular, teniendo en cuenta cada uno de los recursos anteriores se gestionó de manera directa las aplicaciones en el escenario1 y escenario2. La integración de conocimientos adquiridos y aplicaciones a destrezas alcanzadas en el curso aplicando asignación de redes, configuración de router mediante comandos básicos y avanzados que permitían corroborar el funcionamiento de cada uno de los escenarios, cada uno e los niveles de comprensión que se usó para su desarrollo en los diferentes escenarios permitían relacionar los diversos aspectos de networking en la aplicación del mismo. Con recursos de subneteo al inicio de la actividad en parámetros de red, tipología física y lógica, aplicación de comandos entre otros como asignación de interfaces a router, conexiones en switch y demás dispositivos desde la consola de configuración para cada una de las terminales actuales.
