    Australia\u27s first recreational fishing forum was held at the West Australian Cricket Association Ground, in Perth WA on Saturday, 20 October 1990. It was clearly recognised by government, fishers and fisheries managers alike that the 1990\u27s was the decade of decision for recreational fishing in WA.
