    Gambaran Kualitas Hidup Penderita Kanker Mammae di Rs Dr. Moewardi Surakarta

    Mammary cancer is a cancer that is very frightening for women throughout the world. Cancer provides significant physical and psychological changes to an individual, among other things sadness, worry and fear for the future and death. While cancer itself is very influential on the quality of life of patients, Quality of life is a quality that is felt in everyday life, namely in terms of the assessment of well-being that covers all aspects and physical in his life. The aim of the study is to find out the quality of life of breast cancer patients. This study uses a simple descriptive method with cross sectional approach. Sampling was done with a total sampling technique totaling 45 respondents. Data collection methods used were using the EQ-5D questionnaire. The results of the study concluded that the majority of respondents were aged 46-55 years, namely as many as 22 respondents (48.9%). All genders are female. The education of the majority of elementary school respondents was 25 respondents (55.6%). Based on the most work that is as a housewife, farmer, and trader as many as 37 respondents (82.2%). And the marital status of the majority respondents still have a life partner or married status that is as many as 41 respondents (91.1%). Whereas based on the quality of life of breast cancer patients in RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta shows that the quality of life of breast cancer patients has a moderate quality of life (86.7%). It can be concluded that it is expected that medical personnel can provide nursing care services to breast cancer sufferers so that the quality of life of breast cancer sufferers is getting better and not decreasing
