Proactive Personalized Mobile Multi-Blogging Service on Smart-M3
This paper discusses the project targeted in development of proactive, personalized and composite services for the blogosphere. By applying the smart spaces paradigm we have developed an approach for composition of blog spaces. We contribute formal technique for construction of proactive and personalized service for bloggers as well as for its integration with external applications. The proposed technique is implemented in SmartScribo application on top of the Smart-M3 platform. The developed prototype solution has confirmed that the approach results in services with the next quality level

We consider a notification model for constructing interactions of multiple software agents in a smart space. The model supports Smart-M3 application development and exploits such features as subscription operation and ontological information representation. The set of required variants for interaction is described using a notification ontology, which extends the application domain ontology. Programming the interaction is reduced to subscription that each agent implements based on the notification ontology. The applicability of model is demonstrated on the case study of SmartScribo system for smart space multi-blogging. Our experiments show reasonable performance for this class of applications.Π Π°ΡΡΠΌΠ°ΡΡΠΈΠ²Π°Π΅ΡΡΡ ΠΌΠΎΠ΄Π΅Π»Ρ ΡΠ²Π΅Π΄ΠΎΠΌΠ»Π΅Π½ΠΈΠΉ Π΄Π»Ρ ΠΎΡΠ³Π°Π½ΠΈΠ·Π°ΡΠΈΠΈ Π²Π·Π°ΠΈΠΌΠΎΠ΄Π΅ΠΉΡΡΠ²ΠΈΡ ΠΌΠ½ΠΎΠΆΠ΅ΡΡΠ²Π° ΠΏΡΠΎΠ³ΡΠ°ΠΌΠΌΠ½ΡΡ

Geocontext extraction methods analysis for determining the new approach to automatic semantic places recognition
Goal of this paper is to determine actual trends in geocontext extraction methods and to understand which types of geocontext information are the most interesting for users. For this purposes comparison of recent researches about geocontext analysis was done. Researches were compared by the type of achieved result, used formalism, source data and limitations. As the main result of comparison new approach for automatic semantic places recognition was proposed. This approach is based on geotags markup with semantic user-defined tags. The solution allows extracting information (coordinates and a set of corresponding semantic tags on the natural language) about locations which are interesting for the location-based services users. The main advantage of the approach is its simplicity - the method does not rely on any syntax analysis algorithms during the semantic labeling stage. For illustrating the approach an example of the general purpose accidents monitoring service for the Geo2Tag platform was described
Enhancing ICT-Based multidisciplinary collaboration in cross-border context: FRUCTFacilitated karelia ENPI project success stories
The paper summarizes success stories of Finnish and Russian research organizations that joined forces towards development of leading-edge ICT competences and their use in multidisciplinary applications. The partner organizations from both countries have developed close collaboration framework, which enabled them to implement three crossborder cooperation projects co-funded by the Karelia ENPI CBC Programme. The paper describes this framework as a complex combination of various activities, including educational events, practical R&D, as well as infrastructure development and dissemination activities. Following the development of regional cooperation ecosystem and enhancement of ICT competences (KA179 project), rest of the activities were focused on practical and multidisciplinary applications. In these projects, novel approaches and latest information and Internet technologies were used to increase regional tourism attractiveness (KA322 project) and to improve quality of life for people with disabilities by addressing issues related to social exclusion, accessibility and mobility (KA432 project). The aim of the paper is to share practical experiences, gained during implementation of these cross-border cooperation projects, and to present developed ICT applications in a multidisciplinary context
Development of collaborative editing applications through semantic publish-subscribe platforms
Cloud computing revolutionized the way resources (i.e. services and data) are accessed and used. Among the many changes in data processing and service provision paradigms, Software as a Service (SaaS) and collaborative editing are two of the most significant. This paper presents an approach based on semantic publish/subscribe paradigm to the development of collaborative editing applications. The main aim of this research work consists in exploiting emerging technologies (i.e. semantic web data representation formalisms, publish-subscribe platforms) in order to (1) overcome limitations coming from the traditional paradigm of single-author workflows, (2) enhance the editing capabilities of the users, (3) ease the development and maintainment of applications and (4) provide a shared high- level abstraction of the documents that fosters information-level interoperability and reusability. The proposed approach is then validated through an ad-hoc vector graphics application, SCEd (Semantic Collaborative Editor) built upon a SPARQL Event Processing Architecture derived from the Smart-M3 semantic publish-subscribe platform
