Resumen El presente artículo es un avance de investigación del proyecto “El Poder de la Pluma en la Creación de la Identidad Nacional” que trata de la vida y obra de la escritora, poeta, periodista y activista política Patrícia Redher Galvão, más conocida como Pagu. Considerada la “musa” del Movimiento Antropofágico que sentó las bases del Modernismo en Brasil, esa mujer luchó por sus ideales con bravura y determinación en la época de la terrible dictadura de Getúlio Vargas. Resumo O presente artigo é um avanço de pesquisa do projeto “O Poder da Pluma na Criação da Identidade Nacional” que analisa a vida e a obra da escritora, poeta, jornalista e ativista política Patrícia Redher Galvão, mais conhecida como Pagu. Considerada a “musa” do Movimento Antropofágico que estabeleceu as bases do Modernismo no Brasil, essa mulher lutou por seus ideais com bravura e determinação durante a época da terrível ditadura de Getúlio Vargas. Mulheres que habitavam Comala: personagens femininas em Pedro Páramo

Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro de Comunicação e Expressão, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Literatura, Florianópolis, 2011Este trabalho realiza uma análise das personagens femininas do romance Pedro Páramo, de Juan Rulfo, de 1955. Investiga como foi construída a representação das mulheres e como se constituem ficcionalmente as relações entre homem e mulher na sociedade do período da Revolução Mexicana. Para compreender como Rulfo constrói tais personagens, seleciono algumas delas, a partir de pesquisa bibliográfica documental e ficcional, e desenvolvo uma leitura sobre a construção desses papeis femininos. A construção estético e ficcional de perfis psicológicos do romance procura mostrar uma sociedade rural em decadência, onde o cotidiano e as relações são regidos pelo desencanto e pela (des)esperança de uma outra história.This dissertation analyzes the female characters in the romance novel "Pedro Paramo", written by Juan Rulfo in 1955. The novel investigates the construction of the representation of women and how they fictionally constitute the relations between men and women in the society of the Mexican Revolutionary era. To understand how Rulfo creates these personages, I select some of them, and through documentary and fictional bibliographic research, I develop a reading on the construction of these female roles. The aesthetic and fictional development of the psychological profiles of this romance novel attempts to show a decadent rural society where everyday life and relationships are governed by disenchantment and the hope(lessness) of a different story

O artigo tematiza o problema da possibilidade de se caracterizar uma mística no feminino. Trata do protagonismo da mulher na mística medieval, usando como referência pesquisas de doutorado realizadas nos Programas de Pós-graduação em Ciências da Religião no Brasil. Elege os trabalhos dedicados às obras de beguinas, consideradas maiores, a saber, Hadewijch de Antuérpia, Mechthild de Magdeburg e Marguerite Porete. Por meio de metodologia bibliográfica procura demonstrar que é possível caracterizar uma mística no feminino, especialmente considerando a maneira com que essas mulheres lidam com a centralidade do desejo na experiência de Deus

XVI Colóquio de Outono: conflito e trauma

It has been the main concern of CEHUM, as a Research Centre within the Humanities which operates in an inter and transdisciplinary structure to listen attentively to the “noise of the world” and attempt a global interpretation of the signs of the times issuing from the world around us, as vibrant echoes of many social and cultural pressing issues. Every year each new Colóquio de Outono attempts to give evidence of that concern through the topic chosen for debate, ample enough and challenging enough to trigger a lively multidisciplinary dialogue amongst the diff erent research groups that compose this centre, the participants and our invited guest speakers. Throughout the three days of this 16th Colóquio de Outono we had the privilege to debate the propositions of a vast number of national and international specialists in the manifold fi elds of inquiry here represented, engaging keynote speakers, project advisors, members of research teams and external researchers attached to the various research projects currently running in CEHUM, in the fi elds of literature, linguistics, philosophy, ethics, visual arts, cultural studies, music and performance. Trajetórias e rotina de prisioneiras por tráfico de drogas: autoras e caodjuvantes

Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Sociologia Política, Florianópolis, 2007.Este trabalho traz parte da história de vida de treze mulheres encarceradas no único Presídio Feminino de Santa Catarina, em Florianópolis, acusadas e/ou condenadas por tráfico de drogas proibidas. No Brasil e no mundo, o narcotráfico por si só desperta atenção, mas poucos são os trabalhos a focar a criminalidade à luz das relações de gênero. É o que propomos: compreender em que medida a participação das mulheres no tráfico de drogas ilícitas está permeada pelo papel a elas imposto por nossa cultura e também como a participação delas se intersecciona com as relações afetivas com seus companheiros, pais, irmãos, filhos e com suas mães, irmãs e filhas.Tendo como ponto de partida dados quantitativos e qualitativos, a hipótese central foi: será o ingresso da mulher no tráfico de drogas induzido por seu(s) companheiro(s)? Considerando que autoridades e pesquisadores, como Alba Zaluar (1994), apontavam que as mulheres não eram as protagonistas principais no tráfico de drogas, decidimos ver se isto se confirmava na realidade, porém do ponto de vista das prisioneiras. Assim, com esta primeira hipótese, nos fundamentamos nas teorias de gênero e na revisão da literatura para abordar os seguintes aspectos: criminalidade, vida carcerária e sistema penal e prisional. Embora façamos uso de dados quantitativos, a metodologia do trabalho é qualitativa. As entrevistadas foram selecionadas de duas formas: cruzamento de dados da instituição e convite interpessoal. O roteiro foi elaborado de modo a apreender dois momentos de suas trajetórias de vida: os vários contextos de inserção e o da participação no tráfico de drogas. Em ambos os casos dialogamos com diversos autores. Os resultados são surpreendentes, tanto do ponto de vista prático quanto teórico. Primeiro descortinamos o presídio, damos cor às relações sociais do convívio e do sistema através da rotina das presidiárias na instituição, destacando vários aspectos (rituais de entrada, distribuição e uso do espaço, visitas, vigilância e castigo, etc.). Depois projetamos luz nos relacionamentos afetivos das mulheres entrevistadas para, enfim, perceber que embora o padrão androcêntrico pretenda para os homens tudo que é superior, inclusive dizer que seriam os homens os responsáveis pelo ingresso delas na criminalidade, algumas vezes isto não se confirmou, como mostram nossos dados.This text shows part of the history of life of thirteen women jailed in the only Feminine Penitentiary of Santa Catarina, in Florianópolis, defendant and/or condemned by traffic of illegal drugs. In Brazil and in the world the drug traffic by itself awakes attention, but few are the works to focus crime on the point of view of gender relations. This is what we consider: to also understand at what measure the participation of women in the traffic of illicit drugs it is imposed by the paper they play in our culture (use the term cultura as symbolic system, as the point of view of Laraia (1986, p. 62-63) and as their participation crosses with the affective relations with its friendships, with its mothers, parents, sisters, brothers and children. Having as starting point given quantitative and qualitative dates, the central hypothesis was: what if the ingression of woman in the induced traffic of drugs for their (s) accompanying (s)? Considering that authorities and researchers, as Alba Zaluar (1994), pointed that women were not the main protagonists in the traffic of drugs, we decided to see if this was confirmed in the reality, on the point of view of the prisoners. Thus, with this first hypothesis, which is based on the theories of gender and the revision of literature to approach the following aspects: crime, jail life and prisional system. However we make use of quantitative data, the methodology of the work is qualitative. The interviewed ones had been selected from contacts made in the institution and the script was elaborated in order to apprehend two moments of their trajectories of life: of insertion and of the participation in the traffic of drugs. In both cases we dialogue with some authors. The results are surprising, from the practical point of view as much as theoretical. First we disclosed the penitentiary, giving color to the social relations of the conviviality and the system through the routine of the prisoners in the institution, detaching some aspects (ritual of entrance, distribution and use of the space, visits, monitoring and punishment, etc.). Later we lightened the affective relationships of the women interviewed to, at last, realize that although the androcentric standard intends for men everything that is superior, including to say that the responsible for the ingression of them in crime would be the men, some times this was not confirmed, as our data show

Masculinidades e passividade originária: uma análise dos filmes traídos pelo desejo e uma mulher fantástica

Based on the analysis of the films The Crying Game and A Fantastic Woman, we reflect on the constitution of male and cisgender identities. These reflections are guided by elements of the psychoanalytic theories of Freud, Jean Laplanche and Silvia Bleichmar about the construction of these identities. We question what can explain the difficulties that some cis men have to sustain their affective choices regarding relationships with trans women. We conclude that, in relation to trans women, heterosexual cis men may experience anguish arising from their psychic conflicts, especially those arising from the constitution of their gender identity, marked by the repression of passivity.A partir da análise dos filmes Traídos pelo desejo e Uma mulher fantástica propomos algumas reflexões sobre a constituição das identidades masculinas e cisgêneras. Loucas ou modernas? : mulheres em revista (1920-1940)

Through the lenses of cultural history, this article analyzes changes in gender relations during the decades of 1920 to 1940, a period of great modernization of Rio de Janeiro. The sources selected for analysis gave voice to scientific journals; open letters of sentimental columns; and readers’ letters of magazines. Of novelty, the article underlines the role of the "modernists", one of the many categories constructed in the context of the redefinition of the feminine social roles that oscillated between vanguards and pathology’s representations.Este artigo propõe analisar, à luz da história cultural, as mudanças nas relações de gênero durante as décadas de 1920 a 1940, período de grande modernização do Rio de Janeiro.
