    Get PDF
Text mining research has grown in importance in recent years due to the tremendous increase in the volume of unstructured textual data. This has resulted in immense potential as well as obstacles in the sector, which may be efficiently addressed with adequate analytical and study methods. Deep Bidirectional Recurrent Neural Networks are used in this study to analyze sentiment. The method is categorized as sentiment polarity analysis because it may generate a dataset with sentiment labels. This dataset can be used to train and evaluate sentiment analysis models capable of extracting impartial opinions. This paper describes the Sentiment Analysis-Deep Bidirectional Recurrent Neural Networks (SA-BDRNN) Scheme, which seeks to overcome the challenges and maximize the potential of text mining in the context of Big Data. The current study proposes a SA-DBRNN Scheme that attempts to give a systematic framework for sentiment analysis in the context of student input on institution choice. The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness of the proposed SA- DBRNN Scheme to existing frameworks to establish a robust deep neural network that might serve as an adequate classification model in the field of sentiment analysis

Opinion mining and sentiment analysis methods has become a prerogative models in terms of gaining insights from the huge volume of data that is being generated from vivid sources. There are vivid range of data that is being generated from varied sources. If such veracity and variety of data can be explored in terms of evaluating the opinion mining process, it could help the target groups in getting the public pulse which could support them in taking informed decisions. Though the process of opinion mining and sentiment analysis has been one of the hot topics focused upon by the researchers, the process has not been completely revolutionary. In this study the focus has been upon reviewing varied range of models and solutions that are proposed for sentiment analysis and opinion mining. From the vivid range of inputs that are gathered and the detailed study that is carried out, it is evident that the current models are still in complex terms of evaluation and result fetching, due to constraints like comprehensive knowledge and natural language limitation factors. As a futuristic model in the domain, the process of adapting scope of evolutionary computational methods and adapting hybridization of such methods for feature extraction as an idea is tossed in this paper

Sentiment analysis research has been increasing tremendously in recent times due to the wide range of business and social applications. Sentiment analysis from unstructured natural language text has recently received considerable attention from the research community. In this paper, we propose a novel sentiment analysis model based on common-sense knowledge extracted from ConceptNet based ontology and context information. ConceptNet based ontology is used to determine the domain specific concepts which in turn produced the domain specific important features. Further, the polarities of the extracted concepts are determined using the contextual polarity lexicon which we developed by considering the context information of a word. Finally, semantic orientations of domain specific features of the review document are aggregated based on the importance of a feature with respect to the domain. The importance of the feature is determined by the depth of the feature in the ontology. Experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed methods

Ensemble Feature Learning-Based Event Classification for Cyber-Physical Security of the Smart Grid

The power grids are transforming into the cyber-physical smart grid with increasing two-way communications and abundant data flows. Despite the efficiency and reliability promised by this transformation, the growing threats and incidences of cyber attacks targeting the physical power systems have exposed severe vulnerabilities. To tackle such vulnerabilities, intrusion detection systems (IDS) are proposed to monitor threats for the cyber-physical security of electrical power and energy systems in the smart grid with increasing machine-to-machine communication. However, the multi-sourced, correlated, and often noise-contained data, which record various concurring cyber and physical events, are posing significant challenges to the accurate distinction by IDS among events of inadvertent and malignant natures. Hence, in this research, an ensemble learning-based feature learning and classification for cyber-physical smart grid are designed and implemented. The contribution of this research are (i) the design, implementation and evaluation of an ensemble learning-based attack classifier using extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost) to effectively detect and identify attack threats from the heterogeneous cyber-physical information in the smart grid; (ii) the design, implementation and evaluation of stacked denoising autoencoder (SDAE) to extract highlyrepresentative feature space that allow reconstruction of a noise-free input from noise-corrupted perturbations; (iii) the design, implementation and evaluation of a novel ensemble learning-based feature extractors that combine multiple autoencoder (AE) feature extractors and random forest base classifiers, so as to enable accurate reconstruction of each feature and reliable classification against malicious events. The simulation results validate the usefulness of ensemble learning approach in detecting malicious events in the cyber-physical smart grid
