A modern vision of simulation modelling in mining and near mining activity

    Get PDF
The paper represents the creation of the software simulation system, which reproduce the basic processes of mining and near production. It presents the consideration of such systems for both traditional and non-traditional mineral extraction systems. The principles of using computer recognition of processes are also presented in other processes of carbon-containing raw materials transition, as well as power production and waste utilization of mining production. These systems considerably expand the manageability of a rather complicated mining enterprise. The main purpose of such research is the simulation reproduction of all technological processors associated with the activity of mining enterprises on the display of the dispatch center. For this purpose, is used so-called UML-diagrams, which allows to simulate mining and near mining processes. Results of this investigation were included to the Roman Dychkovskyi thesis of the scientific degree of the Doctor of the Technique Sciences “Scientific Principles of Technologies Combination for Coal Mining in Weakly Metamorphoses Rockmass”

Composing Software from Multiple Concerns: A Model and Composition Anomalies

    Get PDF
Constructing software from components is considered to be a key requirement for managing the complexity of software. Separation of concerns makes only sense if the realizations of these concerns can be composed together effectively into a working program. Various publications have shown that composability of software is far from trivial and fails when components express complex behavior such as constraints, synchronization and history-sensitiveness. We believe that to address the composability problems, we need to understand and define the situations where composition fails. To this aim, in this paper we (a) introduce a general model of multi-dimensional concern composition, and (b) define so-called composition anomalies

Introduction to the GiNaC Framework for Symbolic Computation within the C++ Programming Language

The traditional split-up into a low level language and a high level language in the design of computer algebra systems may become obsolete with the advent of more versatile computer languages. We describe GiNaC, a special-purpose system that deliberately denies the need for such a distinction. It is entirely written in C++ and the user can interact with it directly in that language. It was designed to provide efficient handling of multivariate polynomials, algebras and special functions that are needed for loop calculations in theoretical quantum field theory. It also bears some potential to become a more general purpose symbolic package

"Industrial Paternalistic Corporate Company Strategies in Theory and Practice in Nordic Countries and Japan from 1900s to 1960s"

In this article I discuss and compare how the concept of paternalism in the Nordic contries and Japan emerge, developed and changed, in theory and practice, from the late 19th century to the 1960s.The comparison showes important cultures and historical differences in how the patriarchal system was shaped in practice as well as in rhetoric but similarities in the endeavour for hegemony.
