Introduction to the Development Trend of New Energy Vehicle Industry

    Get PDF
So far, the vast majority of cars on the market are still cars that consume gasoline and diesel conventional fuels for power. In people’s deep-rooted thinking, the promotion of new energy vehicles and the establishment of the new energy vehicle industry chain require the inclination of national policies, thus it seems that the development of the new energy vehicle market still needs a long period of policy guidance and technological breakthroughs. The following is a brief description of why new energy vehicles should be developed, the current situation of new energy vehicles in various countries and China’s policy support for new energy vehicles

Application of Fireproof Coating for New Energy Vehicle Battery Pack

    Get PDF
In the development process of new energy vehicles, the battery pack is one of the key parts, and the safety of the battery pack has always been an important factor affecting the application range and market sales of new energy vehicles. In order to improve the safety of battery packs, fireproof coatings are widely used on the surface of battery packs. This paper introduces the application of fireproof coatings in new energy vehicles by analyzing the composition and function of fireproof coatings

Who buys new energy vehicles in china? Assessing social-psychological predictors of purchasing awareness, intention, and policy

This paper investigates the salience of social-psychological factors in explaining why drivers purchase (or fail to purchase) New Energy Vehicles (NEVs)—including hybrid electric vehicles, battery electric vehicles, and fuel cell electric vehicles—in China. A questionnaire measuring six dimensions (including attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, personal norms, low-carbon awareness and policy) was distributed in Tianjin, where aggressive policy incentives for NEVs exist yet adoption rates remain low. Correlation analysis and hierarchical multiple regression analyses are applied data collected through 811 valid questionnaires. We present three main findings. First, there is an “awareness-behavior gap” whereby low-carbon awareness has a moderating effect on purchasing behavior via psychological factors. Second, subjective norms has a stronger influence on intention to purchase New Energy Vehicles than other social-psychological factors. Third, acceptability of government policies has positive significant impact on adoption of New Energy Vehicles, which can provide reference potential template for other countries whose market for New Energy Vehicles is also in an early stage

Optimized Lightweight Frame for Intelligent New-energy Vehicles

In this paper, a joint optimization method based on multi-objective response surface approximation model and finite element simulation program is proposed to realize the lightweight optimization of new-energy vehicle frames. Under the premise of satisfying the constraints of strength, frequency and vibration, the thickness of different important parts is optimized to achieve the goal of minimizing the quality of intelligent vehicles. In order to obtain the stress distribution of each part and the vibration frequency of the frame, various finite element analyses of the intelligent vehicle frame are analyzed. In order to achieve optimization, this paper adopts the response surface method for multi-objective optimization. Sample data was generated by the central composite design, and the response surface optimization method was used to filter out 5 design variables that had a large impact on the frame. As a result, the weight of the frame was reduced from 25.05 kg to 19.86 kg, a weight reduction of 20.7%, achieving a significant weight reduction effect. This method provides important reference value and guiding significance for the optimization of frame and its lightweight. In this way, the design of the frame can be better optimized to make it lighter, thereby improving the performance of the smart car. At the same time, this method can also be applied to optimization problems in other fields to achieve more efficient and accurate optimization goals. Citation: Wu, P. (2023). Presently, energy restrictions are tightening, automotive energy technologies are diversifying, and electric vehicle development and popularity are the largest issues in Japan, the US, Europe, China, and other growing nations. Nonetheless, electric vehicles have been introduced as clean technology since cars were fi rst utilized, but they have not been extensively applied for myriad reasons. By 2025, 12 countries and 25 areas will ban petrol vehicles which need individuals and nations must work together to grow electric vehicle sales. Based on the foregoing, initiatives for better popularization of new energy vehicles will include electronic vehicle technological advancement and national infrastructure with policy support

New energy vehicles (NEVs) have been proposed as a promising technology to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. China is one of the leading countries in the development of NEVs, and a wide range of companies, including large and smaller businesses, are involved in the Chinese NEV market. Given that the NEV market involves the creation of nascent technologies, there are significant barriers to the development of NEV companies in the business growth stage. This is particularly significant in the case of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This study surveyed 100 NEV SMEs in China using a structured questionnaire to determine the most significant barriers to the growth of their businesses. Calculating the relative importance index (RII) from the collected questionnaire responses revealed that the most significant barrier at the growth stage is the lack of skilled scientists in China. The most important category of barriers is legal and institutional barriers, which suggests that government intervention in business activities, taxes, and unclear regulations are viewed by entrepreneurs as a serous hindrance to further development in the NEV industry
