Handel, Hierarchien und Kooperation in der Globalisierung

Im Zuge der Globalisierung nimmt die Intensität der Beziehungen zwischen Nationen, zwischen Unternehmen und zivilgesellschaftlichen Akteuren zu. Transnationale Normbildungsnetzwerke entstehen, die einen bislang wenig bekannten Einfluss auf alle Lebensbereiche (Wirtschafts- und Arbeitsbeziehungen, Umwelt, Sicherheit, Rechte, Vertrauen usw.) ausüben. Auch Staat und Marktbeziehungen formieren sich dadurch neu. Jenseits des Nationalstaates entwickelt sich durch transnationale Wirtschaftsbeziehungen eine Autonomie von Weltzivilgesellschaft; damit erodiert auch die rein nationalökonomische Betrachtungsweise, die bis vor einigen Jahrzehnten bei den Wirtschaftswissenschaftlern im Mittelpunkt stand. Wir arbeiten in diesem Beitrag einige wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Diskurse zu Hierarchie und Kooperationsformen in der Globalisierung auf. Dabei konzentrieren wir uns insbesondere auf die Wertschöpfungsketten als maßgeblichen Bestandteil transnationaler Netzwerke und möglichen Katalysator für technologischen Fortschritt und Entwicklung in Entwicklungs- und Schwellenländern. Darüber hinaus diskutieren wir, wie und welche Verknüpfungen der unterschiedlichen wissenschaftlichen Diskurse im Kontext der Globalisierung in Zukunft dazu beitragen können, transnationale Netzwerke und den Prozess zunehmender weltzivilgesellschaftlicher Autonomie noch besser zu verstehen und erklären zu können.In the course of globalization, the intensity of global interactions between nations, firms, and civil society actors has increased significantly and has led to the creation of transnational norm-building networks. And yet, we focus on the discourse on valuecreation chains as an essential element of transnational networks and a potential catalyst for technological progress and economic development in developing and transition countries. Moreover, we outline fruitful combinations of different economic approaches that in future may help to achieve a better understanding of global civil society autonomy and transnational networks

Nachhaltigkeitsorientierte Analyse von Wertschöpfungsnetzwerken am Beispiel Kameruns: Ein Beitrag zur nachhaltigen Integration Kameruns in die Weltwirtschaft

The present work deals with the issue of business logistic and production management. This topic is of great interest in the context of discussions on sustainable strategies of globally acting enterprises or enterprise networks as well as states and regional authorities. It is a rethinking of value added networks and the assignment of supply chain processes, for example in the framework of a distributed production to geographical locations. The choice of Cameroon as study area is justified on the one hand by its geographical location, on the other hand by its great potential of raw materials and despite or even because of its characteristics as a developing Country. The work is divided into seven chapters and includes an extensive list of references. The information basis necessary for this work was obtained, in addition to literature review, through own interviews in Germany and in Cameroon as well as temporary collaboration in German-Cameroonian DAAD-Project for the intensification of logistic understanding and logistic education in Cameroon. This was followed by the comparative analysis in order to make a correlation between different cases and circumstances, and subsequently to propose a solution. In addition, a SWOT analysis was performed. It is an evaluation method for detecting strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks. Finally, models were developed in order to solve the problem in the reality with illustrations. In the context of current scientific discussion in the operational logistics and transportation industry as well as the production management under consideration of the relevance of the sustainability-related inclusions of developing countries in international value added networks, four essential results were worked out. These results are related to a sustainability-driven redesign of the value chains for a sustainable integration into the world economy of a developing country as Cameroon. Four action recommendations are derived from these results for increasing the production and regional service attractiveness. Particularly noteworthy are the considerations for sustainability-driven redesign of the value chains in the agra-tech sector and in the high-tech sector. In the context of a Cameroonian proverb that says: When elephants fight against hippopotamus, small animals should worry for their lives! , the entire work appears as a new analysis of business logistics, transport and production industry, taking into account the importance of sustainability with the inclusion of developing countries in international value-added networks

Ordnungspolitische Perspektiven der europaeischen Integration im Spannungsfeld von Wettbewerbs- und Industriepolitik

Im Rahmen der europäischen Integration hat die Wettbewerbsordnung immer eine bedeutende Rolle gespielt. Ausufernde industriepolitische Bestrebungen und Förderprogramme drohen jedoch die Wettbewerbsordnung der Gemeinschaft auszuhöhlen und führen zu einer weitreichenden Politisierung der Entscheidungsprozesse, wodurch die wettbewerblichen Elemente mehr und mehr zurückgedrängt werden. Das Spannungsverhältnis zwischen Wettbewerbs- und Industriepolitik ist dabei Ausdruck für den ordnungspolitischen Konflikt, zwischen der Integration durch einen Wettbewerb der Systeme und der Integration durch Harmonisierung. Während die Wettbewerbspolitik die dezentrale Integration betont, steht die Industriepolitik für die zentralisierte und damit weitgehend institutionelle Integration. In einer detaillierten Analyse werden sowohl die ökonomischen als auch rechtlichen Aspekte der Wettbewerbs- und Industriepolitik dargestellt und ihre Auswirkungen auf den Integrationsprozeß untersucht. Die Gründung einer Tochtergesellschaft als internationale Markteintrittsstrategie von Dienstleistungsunternehmen

Obwohl internationale Markteintrittsstrategien von Dienstleistungsunternehmen erhebliche empirische Bedeutung und praktische Relevanz besitzen, existiert ein wirtschaftswissenschaftliches Forschungsdefizit. Die rare, existierende Forschung beschränkt sich auf wenig aussagefähige Industriestudien oder (anekdotische) Fallbeispiele, insbesondere werden zumeist lediglich Teilaspekte betrachtet. Internationale Markteintrittsstrategien von Dienstleistungsunternehmen bilden jedoch eine komplexe Problemstellung, welche eine umfassende Sichtweise bedingt. Mit Hilfe ausgewählter, bewährter Ansätze des "international business" soll versucht werden die Extremform "Gründung einer Tochtergesellschaft" zu erklären - aufgrund von Dienstleistungsmerkmalen. Voraussetzung ist deshalb die hinreichend umfassende, systematische Beschreibung dieser.
