PEMODELAN DAN SIMULASI INDOOR WIRELESS SYSTEM MENGGUNAKAN METODE FINITE VOLUME DENGAN GPU CUDA
In this study, we propose a simulation of 2D indoor wireless systems using
a finite volume method with GPU CUDA to solve Maxwell's equation. The
domain is divided into several scenarios and discretized into structured and
quadlilateral. Maxwell's equation is solved using finite volume space
discretization, while time evolution is discretized using the Euler scheme. The
boundary condition Perfectly Matched Layer (PML) is used to absorb waves that
leave the domain. In addition, the use of the Lax-Friedrichs scheme is carried out
to improve stability and obtain monotone properties. In addition, the comparison
of the calculation of the execution time of CPU and GPU usage is also done in
several different domain sizes. Our results show that the use of GPU can speed up
the execution time to reach 9 times than the CPU. Finally, simulations show that
the proposed method can handle indoor wireless system simulations well
