Fonksiyonel Değişimli Malzemelerle Kaplanmış Metal Silindirik Kabukların Serbest Titreşimi

FDM kaplı metal silindirik kabukların temel bağıntıları ve değiştirilmiş Donnell tipi temel denklemleri türetilmekte ve Galerkin Yöntemi uygulanarak çözülmektedir. FDM kaplı metal silindirik kabukların serbest titreşiminin boyutsuz frekans parametresi için analitik ifade bulunmaktadır. Analizler kısmında, kaplamalı silindirik kabukların serbest titreşimlerinin boyutsuz frekans parametrelerinin minimum değerlerine, hacim bileşenleri değişiminin, kabuk karakteristiklerinin, iç ve dış tabakaların kalınlıkları değişiminin etkileri sayısal olarak incelenmektedir. The basic relations and modified Donnell type basic equations of metal cylindrical shells coated with FGMs are derived and solved by using Galerkin method. Analytical expression for the dimensionless frequency parameter of the metal cylindrical shell coated with FGMs is found. Finally, the effects of variations of volume fractions, shell characteristics and variations of the thickness of inner and outer coatings on the values of the dimensionless frequency parameters of free vibrations for coated cylindrical shells are studied numerically

Comparative morphological, anatomical, ecological and chemical studies on endemic Satureja parnassica subsp. sipylea from Turkey

Satureja. parnassica Heldr.et Sart. subsp. sipylea P.H. Davis is a subspecies endemic to Turkey. The anatomical, morphological, ecological and chemical features of S. parnassica subsp. sipylea have been investigated. Plant samples were collected from different regions in Turkey. The morphological features of various organs of the plant such as leaf and flower are described in detail. In anatomical studies, transverse sections of the plant stem and leaf have been examined and supported by illustration and photographs. Ecological studies provide information about the physical and chemical structure of soil types in Spil Mountain and Marmara Island. The chemical composition of the essential oil of aerial parts of the plant was examined

The style and style of expression of the Qur'an is not chronological and detailed, especially in short stories and historical events. This is the fact that some people, places and community names are not mentioned in the Qur'an. The identification of these ambiguities is possible with narrations. For this reason, the ambiguities in the Qur'an have been clarified with the help of the narrations in the commentaries and in the works on the subject. The Relationship Between Stock Prices and Exchange Rates: An Empirical Study on Emerging Markets

This study aims to determine whether the traditional or portfolio approach is relevant for developing countries, by using the relationship between stock prices and exchange rates. For this purpose, cointegration (Pesaran et al., 2001) and causality tests (Toda Yamamoto, 1995) are used to examine the relationship between stock prices and exchange rates using monthly data from 13 developing countries. There is a negative relationship between the variables in the long-run, in 6 countries. There is a casual relationship in 8 countries, for 5 countries there is uni-directional causality running from stock prices to exchange rate, for 3 countries there is bi-directional causality between the variables. Unfavorable Business Environment and Foreign Direct Investment Activities of Turkish Manufacturing Firms

The purpose of this paper is to empirically investigate the influence of the home country’s unfavorable business environment on the internationalization of Turkish manufacturing firms (TMFs) via FDI. This study uses cross-sectional survey data from a sample 94 TMFs that have equity investment in 28 countries since the mid 1980s. The research results indicate that utility costs, unstable exchange rates, high inflation rate and political instability are considered to be the most important push motives of TMFs. While the relative importance of push motives (i.e., unfavorable business environment) vary with respect to the sampled firm’s ages and, to some extent, their sizes; the motives do not vary based on TMFs’ subsector.FDI from Developing Countries, Turkish FDI Firms, Push Motives of FDI Firms
