Web Services is a solution used in the integration of systems and have some communication between different applications. We describe the use of Web Services as a strategy of integration between a Learning Objects Repository and a Learning Management System. To demonstrate this integration are presented the first results obtained in implementing the integration of Learning Object Repository (LOR) CESTA2 and Learning Management System (LMS) MOODLE. This integration raises important contributions to educational institutions which uses the DSpace as Institutional LOR and MOODLE as Institutional LMS, because they can integrate them obtaining all the benefits that this integration can offer.Presentado en el VI Workshop Arquitectura, Redes y Sistemas Operativos (WARSO)Red de Universidades con Carreras en Inform谩tica (RedUNCI

The wide acceptance of digital repositories today in the eLearning field raises several interoperability issues. In this paper we present the interoperability features of a service oriented repository of learning objects called crimsonHex. These features are compliant with the existing standards and we propose extensions to the IMS interoperability recommendation, adding new functions, formalizing message interchange and providing also a REST interface. To validate the proposed extensions and its implementation in crimsonHex we developed a repository plugin for Moodle 2.0 that is expected to be included in the next release of this popular learning management system
