V první dekádì dubna 2002 se uskuteènil 36. semináø ÈSE z øady ?Ekonomické teorie a èeská ekonomika? s názvem: ?Iinflation Targeting ? Lessons from the International Experience?, uspoøádaný ve spolupráci s Èeskou národní bankou. Hostem organizujících institucí byl øeèník nanejvýš povolaný ? profesor Frederic Mishkin z Graduate School of Business, Columbia University a National Bureau of Economic Research v USA. Jeho vystoupení bylo moderováno Janem Fraitem, prezidentem ÈSE - strukturováno bylo do pìti relativnì samostatných èástí: (1) role a úloha nominální kotvy v ekonomice, (2) teorie cílování inflace, (3) zkušenosti s cílováním inflace v industrializovaných a rozvíjejících se ekonomikách, (4) problematika operativního provádìní cílování inflace a (5) diskuze nad rolí Mezinárodního mìnového fondu a pøijatého systému mìnové politiky. Progress Analysys of Interest Rates in EU and Influence on Company activity

Cílem bakalářské práce je prokázat, že úroková míra má významný vliv na investiční činnost podniku. K verifikaci toho tvrzení chci analyzovat vývoj úrokových sazeb v konkrétních zemích Evropské unie. Po sesbírání všech potřebných dat bude provedena analýza, která má za účel zjistit vliv výše úrokových měr na podnik a vzájemný vliv úrokových sazeb.The goal of the bachelor´s thesis is to prove that interest rate has undisputable influence on investment of company. To prove this statement I would like to analyze development of interest rate in specific countries of European Union. After collecting all necessary data I would like to examine what influence has the interest rate on company and mutual influence of interest rates.

Mismeasurement of inflation is likely to be more severe in a transition economy than in a more stable environment. Diplomová práce se zabývá oceněním vybrané společnosti pomocí výnosové metody diskontovaného peněžního toku a ekonomické přidané hodnoty. Práce nejprve teoreticky popisuje problematiku oceňování podnikatelského subjektu. V další části práce je provedena strategická a finanční analýza, analýza generátorů hodnoty a sestaven finanční plán. V závěru diplomové práce je určena hodnota společnosti k 30. 4. 2012.This master thesis deals with the valuation of the selected company using the yield methods called Discounted Cash Flow and Economic Value Added. This thesis firstly describes the theoretical issue of valuation of the business entity. The next part is the strategic and financial analysis, analysis of value drivers and the financial plan. In conclusion of the master thesis the value of the selected company is determined to date 30. 4. 2012.

Po provedení všech analýz je navržen vhodný podnikatelský plán.Master’s thesis deals with the establishment of social enterprise that creates workplaces. The main contribution is data processing for business, specifically for a restaurant and café, specialized in target group of people with autism spectrum disorder and in families with children. After carrying out all the analyses a suitable business plan is designed.

The Economic Transformation of the Baltic States

Import 04/11/2015V této práci je prostor věnován ekonomické transformaci pobaltských ekonomik v 90. letech 20. století. Cílem práce je zhodnotit především ekonomický vývoj pobaltských států po rozpadu SSSR. Tohoto cíle bude dosaženo pomocí metody deskripce a komparace vybraných ekonomických ukazatelů. První část je věnována teoretickým východiskům ekonomické transformace. Zabývá se také jednotlivými transformačními kroky a rozdílnými teoretickými názory na provádění transformačních procesů. V druhé části jsou uvedeny širší okolnosti ekonomické transformace pobaltských států spolu s jejich vybranými transformačními kroky. Ve třetí části jsou uvedeny a porovnávány vybrané ekonomické ukazatele. Závěr obsahuje zhodnocení ekonomického vývoje pobaltských států v období ekonomické transformace.In this bachelor thesis, the space is dedicated to the economic transformation of the Baltic economies in the 90s of the 20th century. The goal is to evaluate mainly the economic development of the Baltic States after the collapse of the USSR. This will be achieved by using the methods of description and comparison of selected economic indicators. The first part is dedicated to the theoretical bases of economic transformation. It also discusses the various transformation steps and different theoretical views on the implementation of the transformation process. The second part describes the broader circumstances of the economic transformation of the Baltic States, along with their selected transformational steps. In the third part, there are presented and compared selected economic indicators. Èasová struktura úrokových sazeb a mìnová politika v malém makroekonomickém modelu

Cílem èlánku je ukázat interakci mezi indikaèními schopnostmi èasové struktury úrokových sazeb vzhledem k inflaci èi reálné ekonomické aktivitì a reakèní funkcí centrální banky v malém makroekonomickém modelu èeské ekonomiky. Autor nejprve argumentuje, že ohodnocení indikaèních schopností èasové struktury úrokových sazeb, resp. úrokového rozpìtí, pomocí jednorovnicových pøístupù je nedostateèné, a vysvìtluje, proè je nutné vyjít z makroekonomického modelu s endogenní reakcí mìnové autority. Poté je pøedstaven malý makroekonomický model èeské ekonomiky vèetnì kalibrace koeficientù a v jeho rámci je zkoumána indikaèní schopnost úrokového rozpìtí pøi rùzné parametrizaci reakèní funkce centrální banky. Comparison of Selected Simple Models of Inflation in the Czech Economy

This paper begins with a description of simple select models of inflation and their ability to fit the data. The paper in turn measures the stability of particular parsimonious models. One-step forecast tests are applied, which establish the instability of the money demand model compared with other models, despite its ability to fit the data nearly as well as the P-star model. Further, the forecasting performances of the selected parsimonious models are analyzed, though only the performance of one-step forecasts are fully treated given the insufficient descriptive ability of the AR processes of explanatory variables. As a measure of forecast ability, the author employs U-statistic, RMSE, and MAE tests.
