    Hybrid Link Adaptation for ICI Adjustment in OFDMA Cellular Uplink Systems

    In orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA)-based uplink systems, it may not be feasible to exploit the rate adaptation due to severe intercarrier interference (ICI). In this paper, we propose a novel hybrid link adaptation scheme that employs power adaptation for ICI adjustment and rate adaptation for capacity improvement in OFDMAbased uplink systems.
