    Gen Z is analogous as strawberry generation because they assumed to be creative, skilled, and critical, but are vulnerable to destruction or lack resilience when facing competition or obstacles. This can be assumed if Gen Z lacks toughness or what is also known as grit. Grit is the perseverance, tenacity, perseverance, and fortitude that a person has in maintaining their interest or doing something even though they face challenges in everyday life. With grit, a person tends to be able to persevere and remain focused on goals even when facing difficult difficulties or obstacles. One of the factors thought to be related to grit is a growth mindset. This research aims to find out whether there is a positive relationship between a growth mindset and grit in the Generation Z group of teenagers. The research method used is a correlational quantitative method. The sampling technique used accidental sampling with a total of 299 subjects whose criteria were a junior high school student and high school student. The research instruments used were the “Alat Ukur Mindset” and the Grit-S Scale. Data analysis used pearson correlation analysis. The results of this study show that there is a positive correlation between growth mindset and grit in generation Z teenagers (r = 0.278). This shows that the higher the growth mindset, the higher the grit in generation Z teenagers, and the contribution of growth mindset to grit is 7.9%

    Hubungan Parental Behavioral Control dengan Obsessive Internet Passion Pada Generasi Z

    Abstract. Many Indonesians are already connected to the internet. Apart from the benefits, of course there are also detriment caused by the internet, especially if it is used excessively. Generation Z is a generation that grew up at the same time as the internet, has certainly experienced more impacts than previous generations. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between parental behavioral control and obsessive internet passion in Generation Z. This research is a quantitative correlational study. The research subjects were Generation Z, who are still at school age, born in 2004-2009 and live with their parents, the samples were selected using non-probability sampling with incidental sampling technique (convenience sampling). The instruments used to collect the data in this study were Parental Control Scale (PCS) and Obsessive Passion Scale (OPS). The data that was analyzed using Karl Pearson's product moment correlation with the help of SPSS version 23 shows that there is a significant negative relationship between parental behavioral control and obsessive internet passion in generation Z which shown by product moment test results with r value of -0.606 and p value of 0.000 (p < 0,01)

    Indeks trend pembelian generasi Z uniknya adalah didominasi oleh produk dalam kategori footwear yaitu dengan angka indeks 3,78. Untuk mengetahui brand yang paling populer dari kategori produk sports footwear, peneliti menggunakan survei yang diambil dari Top Brand Awards Indonesia untuk fase semester kedua periode 2018. Hasil survei yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa Adidas merupakan top brand pada 2018. Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini akan diteliti pengaruh dari sikap dan gaya hidup generasi Z terhadap keputusan pembelian sepatu Adidas. Penelitian menggunakan 100 responden generasi Z. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan angket dan diolah menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa baik sikap maupun gaya hidup, keduanya berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap keputusan pembelian

    Generasi Z, kelompok yang tumbuh dengan teknologi digital, sangat bergantung pada media sosial sebagai sarana utama komunikasi, pendidikan, dan ekspresi diri. Mereka secara aktif berpartisipasi dalam berbagai platform media sosial. Phubbing muncul dari ketergantungan manusia pada smartphone, menyebabkan individu menunjukkan sikap apatis yang lebih besar karena perhatian mereka diarahkan pada smartphone atau perangkat daripada mendorong interaksi dengan dunia luar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meggambarkan perilaku phubbing pada generasi z di Kota Malang. Subjek yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 103 orang di Kota Malang usia 16-29 tahun yang diambil menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala Generic Scale Of Phubbing (GSP) dan analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat perilaku phubbing pada generasi z di Kota Malang berada di tingkat sedang sebesar 52%. Perilaku phubbing pada aspek nomophobia ( 65.05%), Interpersoal conflict (48.54%), Self isolation (38.83%) dan problem acknowledgement (55.34%). Masing-masing berada di kategori sedang, sehingga keeampat aspek tersebut memberikan kontribusi yang sama terhadap perilaku phubbing pada generasi z. Generation Z, a group that grew up with digital technology, relies heavily on social media as a primary means of communication, education and self-expression. They actively participate in various social media platforms. Phubbing arises from human dependence on smartphones, causing individuals to show greater apathy as their attention is directed at the smartphone or device rather than encouraging interaction with the outside world. The purpose of this study is to describe phubbing behavior in generation z in Malang City. The subjects involved in this study were 103 people in Malang City aged 16-29 years who were taken using purposive sampling method. Data collection used the Generic Scale Of Phubbing (GSP) scale and data analysis using descriptive analysis. The results showed that the level of phubbing behavior in generation z in Malang City was at a moderate level of 52%. Phubbing behavior in the aspects of nomophobia (65.05%), Interpersoal conflict (48.54%), Self isolation (38.83%) and problem acknowledgement (55.34%). Each of them is in the moderate category, so that the four aspects contribute equally to phubbing behavior in generation z

    Karakteristik setiap generasi terbentuk oleh situasi dan kondisi lingkungan yang terjadi di sekitarnya. Generasi Z atau dikenal dengan Generasi Milenial memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dengan generasi-generasi sebelumnya. Di mana mereka lahir di era digital serta teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang sangat pesat. Hal ini berpengaruh terhadap gaya belajar mereka yang cenderung instan dan visual. Jika metode pembelajaran yang digunakan di dalam kelas masih menggunakan metode tradisional seperti ceramah dan diskusi, maka metode ini tidak menarik bagi mereka. Dari hasil evaluasi pembelajaran diperoleh 57,8 % mahasiswa menyatakan bahwa materi Siklus Produksi dalam mata kuliah Sistem Informasi Akuntansi (SIA) tidak cukup dijelaskan hanya dengan metode ceramah dari dosen. Lalu, 46,2% menyatakan bahwa mereka kesulitan memahami praktik SIA hanya melalui metode pembelajaran ceramah.     The purpose of this research is to know the role of headmaster in preparing the professional teacher for the student of Z generation. This research uses the qualitative approach, data analysis technique using observation, interview, and observation method. The result of the "first" study of principal leadership role can be seen from 4 (four) aspects as the educator, manager, administrator, and supervisor. The "two" professional teachers in preparing Z-generation students are those who master the curriculum, master the taught material, using multi-learning methods, have the discipline in the widest sense.
