    Existence, Uniqueness, and Stability Analysis of Impulsive Neural Networks with Mixed Time Delays

    We study a class of impulsive neural networks with mixed time delays and generalized activation functions. The mixed delays include time-varying transmission delay, bounded time-varying distributed delay, and discrete constant delay in the leakage term. By using the contraction mapping theorem, we obtain a sufficient condition to guarantee the global existence and uniqueness of the solution for the addressed neural networks. In addition, a delay-independent sufficient condition for existence of an equilibrium point and some delay-dependent sufficient conditions for stability are derived, respectively, by using topological degree theory and Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method. The presented results require neither the boundedness, monotonicity, and differentiability of the activation functions nor the differentiability (even differential boundedness) of time-varying delays. Moreover, the proposed stability criteria are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMI), which can be conveniently checked by the MATLAB toolbox. Finally, an example is given to show the effectiveness and less conservativeness of the obtained results

    Almost Periodic Dynamics for Memristor-Based Shunting Inhibitory Cellular Neural Networks with Leakage Delays

    We investigate a class of memristor-based shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with leakage delays. By applying a new Lyapunov function method, we prove that the neural network which has a unique almost periodic solution is globally exponentially stable. Moreover, the theoretical findings of this paper on the almost periodic solution are applied to prove the existence and stability of periodic solution for memristor-based shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with leakage delays and periodic coefficients. An example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results. The results obtained in this paper are completely new and complement the previously known studies of Wu (2011) and Chen and Cao (2002)

    Finite-time decentralized event-triggered feedback control for generalized neural networks with mixed interval time-varying delays and cyber-attacks

    This article investigates the finite-time decentralized event-triggered feedback control problem for generalized neural networks (GNNs) with mixed interval time-varying delays and cyber-attacks. A decentralized event-triggered method reduces the network transmission load and decides whether sensor measurements should be sent out. The cyber-attacks that occur at random are described employing Bernoulli distributed variables. By the Lyapunov-Krasovskii stability theory, we apply an integral inequality with an exponential function to estimate the derivative of the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals (LKFs). We present new sufficient conditions in the form of linear matrix inequalities. The main objective of this research is to investigate the stochastic finite-time boundedness of GNNs with mixed interval time-varying delays and cyber-attacks by providing a decentralized event-triggered method and feedback controller. Finally, a numerical example is constructed to demonstrate the effectiveness and advantages of the provided control scheme

    In this paper, stochastic fuzzy Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with discrete and distributed delays are investigated. By using Lyapunov function and the Ito differential formula, some sufficient conditions for the pth moment exponential stability of such stochastic fuzzy Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with discrete and distributed delays are established. An example is given to illustrate the feasibility of our main theoretical findings. Finally, the paper ends with a brief conclusion. Methodology and achieved results is to be presented

    Finite time boundedness of neutral high-order Hopfield neural networks with time delay in the leakage term and mixed time delays

    International audienceThis article deals with the finite time boundedness (FTB) and FTB-stabilization problem for a general class of neutral high-order Hopfield neural networks (NHOHNNs) with time delay in the leakage term and mixed time delays. The mixed time delays consist of both discrete time-varying delays and infinite distributed delays. By using the topological degree theory, sufficient conditions are established to prove the existence of equilibrium points. Then, the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) method is used to prove sufficient conditions for the FTB. These conditions are in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) and can be numerically checked. Furthermore, a state feedback control is constructed to solve the FTB-stabilization problem. Finally, some numerical examples are presented to show the effectiveness of our main results
