A low complexity resource allocation algorithm for multicast service delivery in OFDMA networks
Allocating and managing radio resources to multicast transmissions in Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) systems is the challenging research issue addressed by this paper. A subgrouping technique, which divides the subscribers into subgroups according to the experienced channel quality, is considered to overcome the throughput limitations of conventional multicast data delivery schemes. A low complexity algorithm, designed to work with different resource allocation strategies, is also proposed to reduce the computational complexity of the subgroup formation problem. Simulation results, carried out by considering the Long Term Evolution (LTE) system based on OFDMA, testify the effectiveness of the proposed solution, which achieves a near-optimal performance with a limited computational load for the system
A Practical Cooperative Multicell MIMO-OFDMA Network Based on Rank Coordination
An important challenge of wireless networks is to boost the cell edge
performance and enable multi-stream transmissions to cell edge users.
Interference mitigation techniques relying on multiple antennas and
coordination among cells are nowadays heavily studied in the literature.
Typical strategies in OFDMA networks include coordinated scheduling,
beamforming and power control. In this paper, we propose a novel and practical
type of coordination for OFDMA downlink networks relying on multiple antennas
at the transmitter and the receiver. The transmission ranks, i.e.\ the number
of transmitted streams, and the user scheduling in all cells are jointly
optimized in order to maximize a network utility function accounting for
fairness among users. A distributed coordinated scheduler motivated by an
interference pricing mechanism and relying on a master-slave architecture is
introduced. The proposed scheme is operated based on the user report of a
recommended rank for the interfering cells accounting for the receiver
interference suppression capability. It incurs a very low feedback and backhaul
overhead and enables efficient link adaptation. It is moreover robust to
channel measurement errors and applicable to both open-loop and closed-loop
MIMO operations. A 20% cell edge performance gain over uncoordinated LTE-A
system is shown through system level simulations.Comment: IEEE Transactions or Wireless Communications, Accepted for

An Analytical Framework for Heterogeneous Partial Feedback Design in Heterogeneous Multicell OFDMA Networks
The inherent heterogeneous structure resulting from user densities and large
scale channel effects motivates heterogeneous partial feedback design in
heterogeneous networks. In such emerging networks, a distributed scheduling
policy which enjoys multiuser diversity as well as maintains fairness among
users is favored for individual user rate enhancement and guarantees. For a
system employing the cumulative distribution function based scheduling, which
satisfies the two above mentioned desired features, we develop an analytical
framework to investigate heterogeneous partial feedback in a general
OFDMA-based heterogeneous multicell employing the best-M partial feedback
strategy. Exact sum rate analysis is first carried out and closed form
expressions are obtained by a novel decomposition of the probability density
function of the selected user's signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio. To
draw further insight, we perform asymptotic analysis using extreme value theory
to examine the effect of partial feedback on the randomness of multiuser
diversity, show the asymptotic optimality of best-1 feedback, and derive an
asymptotic approximation for the sum rate in order to determine the minimum
required partial feedback.Comment: To appear in IEEE Trans. on Signal Processin
MLTE Algorithm for Multicast Service Delivery in OFDMA Networks
Dispensing and overseeing radio resources to the multi-cast transmissions in OFDMA (orthogonal-frequency division-multiple-access) systems is testing exploration issue tended to by this paper. A sub-grouping technique, which separates the subscribers into subgroups as indicated by the accomplished channel quality, is considered to defeat the throughput confinements of conventional multicast data conveyance schemes. A low complexity algorithm intended to work with diverse resource allocation strategies, is additionally proposed to diminish the computational complexity of the subgroup development issue. Reproduction results, did by considering the long term evolution system taking into account OFDMA, affirm the adequacy of the proposed arrangement, which accomplishes a close ideal execution with a restricted computational load for the system. In this paper we are introducing the MLTE for improve the MBPS speed for fix network coverage at uniform and sparse.
