    The authors discuss the changing library needs of law students as computers, technology, and legal publishing evolve. In order to track the evolving needs of students, the authors discuss ways that librarians can survey students and explain how focus groups and usability tests can provide further insights regarding students’ research skills and information needs. The article examines the literature regarding information literacy and suggests minimum standards for legal information literacy upon graduation, and the authors suggest new services that law librarians could create for law students. Next the authors examine the recent literature about Library 2.0 services, and offer suggestions on incorporating Library 2.0 principles into law library services

    This session discusses Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in the library context. EDI are fundamental values of the library profession and community. The session addresses EDI cases and resources covering various library activities, including library retention, strategies and statements, access services, collection development and metadata creation. It especially focuses on metadata and resource description, as well as introduce the Inclusive Metadata & Conscious Editing Resources List of the Sunshine State Digital Network (SSDN). The purpose is to generate more awareness, interest, and discussion in the library, and create a more inclusive and diversified environment for the library and its served students, faculty members and community at large.     Library Portal 2.0: The Social Research Management System

    Library 2.0 (L2) has been discussed in depth in library circles in recent years. This article looks at L2 initiatives and technology implementation with regard to L2 and proposes a reboot, repositioning the library portal as a Social Research Management System (SRMS). This SRMS adheres to the L2 principles of purposeful, user-driven, library services. The SRMS is envisioned as the center of academic research and activity at universities, not as a peripheral tool. Creating a new generation library portal (the SRMS) is a group endeavor, thus by utilizing both on-campus and peer resources, the realization of the faceted, modularized, SRMS can come to fruition
