Ayfer Tunç's book “TAŞ-KÂĞIT-MAKAS” and their storytellers situations of narration

Kurmaca anlatıların en yaygın türlerinden biri öyküdür. Öykü sanatı özellikle günümüzde Modern Türk edebiyatında gerek kurgu, gerek anlatım teknikleri, gerekse dilin kullanımı bağlamında çok olumlu gelişmeler kaydetmiştir. Günümüz yazarlarından Ayfer Tunç, yazdığı öykülerde sürekli olarak kendini yenilemektedir. Özellikle Taş-Kâğıt-Makas adlı kitabında -diğer öykülerinde yaptığı gibi- “ne” anlatacağından çok “nasıl” anlatacağına yoğunlaşır. Ayfer Tunç, Taş-Kâğıt-Makas adlı kitabında dört öyküye yer vermiştir. Bu öykülerin her birinde hem “anlatıcılar” hem de bu anlatıcıların öykülerini anlatırken başvurulan “anlatım teknikleri” dikkat çekmektedir. Bu bildiride Ayfer Tunç’un adı geçen kitabındaki öyküler, anlatıcılar ve anlatım teknikleri açısından incelenmeye çalışılacaktırStory is one of the most common genres of fiction narratives. The art of story has made significant progress , especially nowadays, in terms of fiction, narration techniques and the use of language. Ayfer Tunç, one of the writers of today, constantly renews herself in the stories she writes. Especially in her book named “Taş-Kağıt-Makas” – just like her other stories- she focuses on how-to-narrate rather than what-to-narrate. Ayfer Tunç gave place to four stories in her book “Taş-Kağıt-Makas”. In each of these stories, both “the narrators” and “the narration techniques” referenced when narrating the stories of these narrators take attention. In this bulletin, the stories in Ayfer Tunç’s book which was mentioned above will be studied in terms of the narrators and the narration techniques

Tourism students’ entrepreneurial personality traits: An emprical research on undergraduate associate and bachelor’s students

Bu araştırmanın amacı, turizm eğitimi alan lisans ve ön lisans öğrencilerinin girişimci kişilik özelliklerinin tespit edilmesidir. Bu amaçla, Sakarya Üniversitesi ve Abant İzzet Baysal Üniversitesi’nde turizm eğitimi alan 308 lisans ve ön lisans öğrencisi üzerinde bir alan araştırması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler istatistiki metotlarla analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucu elde edilen bulgular, turizm öğrencilerinin girişimci kişilik özelliklerine önemli ölçüde sahip olduklarını göstermiştir. Ayrıca, girişimci kişilik özellikleri bakımından lisans ve ön lisans öğrencileri arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir.Aim of this study is to determine entrepreneurial personality traits of associate and bachelor’s degree tourism students. For this purpose, an empirical research was carried out on undergraduate 308 tourism students that studying at Sakarya University and Abant Dzzet Baysal University. Obtained data from the research was analyzed by statistical methods. Results of this research indicated that undergraduate tourism students dramatically have entrepreneurial personality traits. However, at the conclusion of the research it was determined that there was significant difference between associate and bachelor’s degree tourism students’ entrepreneurial personality traits

Minimally invasive double lung transplantation technique (Anteroaxillary approach)

Lung transplantation has been performed through several approaches in the past. Sternothoracotomy is the most widely used approach for double lung transplantation. Although bilateral anterolateral thoracotomy for double lung transplantation has been described in the past, this approach has not widely adopted worldwide. The 'anteroaxillary approach' utilizes a limited incision compared to others, preserves sternal anatomy as well as thoracic arteries, and provides an excellent exposure to hilum. We would like to present our standard approach at University of Pittsburgh through anteroaxillary incision

HUKUK İLE SAVAŞ ARASINDA HOBBES, ROUSSEAU, VATTEL VE CLAUSEWİTZ

Hukuk ve savaş toplumun dışarıda ve içeride iki karşıt ağıdır. Savaş iç ilişkilere sirayet edebildiği gibi, hukuk da zaman geçtikçe dış ilişkilerde önem kazanmaktadır. Savaş ile hukukun yorumunu yapan filozoflar bu çalışmanın kaynaklarıdır. Hobbes’un savaşı ve hukuku dış ve iç ilişkiler olarak görmesi ve ikisinde de iktidarı mutlak kılması öncelikle ele alınmıştır. Daha sonra Rousseau’nun medeniyet eleştirisi ile savaşı ve iktidarı mutlak kılmaya karşı çıkması konu edilmiştir. Bir hukukçu ve diplomat olan Vattel ile bu iki fikrin uygulamaya geçirilebilir tarzı telif edilmiştir. Üç filozofun da doğal hukukun farklı bakış açıları çerçevesinde konuyu yorumlamaları sonucunda Clausewitz’e varmak hedeflenmiştir. Böylelikle iki kuramcı ve bir diplomattan sonra sahadan bir savaşçı ile sonuca ulaşılmaktadır Law and war are two opposite networks within and outside of the society. While war can show within internal relations, law becomes more important in foreign relations. The philosphers, who commented about war and law are the references of this study. Seeing war and law as external and internal relations, and rendering government as unconditional power, Hobbes is handled first. After that, Rousseau’s critic of civilization and o pposition for govermental and military absolutism is studied. The practical nature of these two ideas and ideas of Vattel, a jurist and diplomat are analysed together. Having looked into the different viewpoints of these three philosophers about the natural law, it is finally aimed to approach Clausewitz, allowing us to reeach a conclusion utilizing ideas of two theorists, a diplomat and a warrior from the field
