Imagem biomédica em periódicos fronteiriços à Ciência da Informação

In the biomedical area, the dissemination of digital images provides ample production of images and questioning on how to organize and represent imaging information aiming to recovery. The objective is to investigate in the international literature in Health and Biological Sciences and Exact and Earth Sciences, principles adopted in the representation of biomedical imaging. It consists of a qualitative, exploratory research, with analytical-descriptive orientation, through the identification of theoretical-methodological bases for biomedical image representation. Content analysis is adopted to analyze the articles retrieved in the bibliographic survey. We observed the application of automatic learning, with possibilities of specialist curator via annotation in the images.Na área biomédica, a disseminação de imagens digitais proporciona ampla produção de imagens e questionamentos em como organizar e representar a informação imagética com vistas à recuperação. Objetiva-se investigar na literatura internacional em Ciências da Saúde e Biológicas e Ciências Exatas e da Terra, princípios adotados na representação da imagem biomédica. Consiste em pesquisa qualitativa, de caráter exploratório, com orientação analítico-descritiva,mediante a identificação de bases teórico-metodológicas para representação de imagem biomédica. Adota-se a análise de conteúdo para analisar os artigos recuperados no levantamento bibliográfico. Observamos aplicação de aprendizado automático, com possibilidades de curadoria do especialista via anotação nas imagens
