We will be using Weighted Product Methodology (WPM) which is a decision-making technique that assigns weights to various criteria and ranks alternatives based on their weighted scores. It involves multiplying the ratings of each criterion by their corresponding weights and summing them up to determine the overall score. This method helps prioritize options and make informed decisions in complex situations. Taken of Operational, Technological, Organizational Recorded Electronic Delivery, Recorded Electronic Deliver, Blockchain technology, Database security, Software updates, Antivirus and antimalware The Organizational cyber security measures comes in last place, while Technological cyber security measures is ranked top and Operational measures comes in between the above two in second place.     Decision Making in Power Distribution System Reconfiguration by Blended Biased and Unbiased Weightage Method

    The term smart grid (SG) has been used by many government bodies and researchers to refer to the new trend in the power industry of modernizing and automating the existing power system. SGs must utilize assets optimally by making use of the information, like equipment capacity, voltage drop, radial network structure, minimizing investment and operating costs, minimizing energy loss and reliability indices, and so on. One way to achieve this is to re-route or reconfigure distribution systems (DSs). Distribution systems are reconfigured to choose a switching combination of branches of the system that optimize certain performance parameters of the power supply, while satisfying some specified constraints. In this paper, a blended biased and unbiased weightage (BBUW) multiple attribute decision-making (MADM) method is proposed for finding the compromised best configuration and compared it with other decision-making methods, such as the weighted sum method (WSM), weighted product method (WPM), and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. The BBUW method is implemented for two distribution systems, and the result obtained shows a good co-relationship between BBUW and other decision-making methods. Further weights obtained from the BBUW method are used for the WSM, WPM and TOPSIS methods for decision making. Examples of the distribution system are worked out in this paper to demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of the method

    This proceedings includes papers presented at the USM-AUT International Conference (UAIC 2012) carrying the theme “Sustainable Economic Development: Policies and Strategies”, held on 17-18 November 2012 at Bayview Beach Resort Penang Malaysia. This conference is jointly organized by the School of Social Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Malaysia, and Faculty of Business and Law, Auckland University of Technology (AUT), New Zealand. We received a total of 167 papers from various institutions and organizations around the world where 82 papers were accepted for inclusion in this proceedings. The proceedings is compiled according to the three sub themes of the conference. It covers both theoretical and empirical works from the scholars globally. It is hoped that the collection of these conference papers will become a valuable reference to the conference participants, researchers, scholars, students, businesses and policy makers.     African Handbook of Climate Change Adaptation

    This open access book discusses current thinking and presents the main issues and challenges associated with climate change in Africa. It introduces evidences from studies and projects which show how climate change adaptation is being - and may continue to be successfully implemented in African countries. Thanks to its scope and wide range of themes surrounding climate change, the ambition is that this book will be a lead publication on the topic, which may be regularly updated and hence capture further works. Climate change is a major global challenge. However, some geographical regions are more severly affected than others. One of these regions is the African continent. Due to a combination of unfavourable socio-economic and meteorological conditions, African countries are particularly vulnerable to climate change and its impacts. The recently released IPCC special report "Global Warming of 1.5º C" outlines the fact that keeping global warming by the level of 1.5º C is possible, but also suggested that an increase by 2º C could lead to crises with crops (agriculture fed by rain could drop by 50% in some African countries by 2020) and livestock production, could damage water supplies and pose an additonal threat to coastal areas. The 5th Assessment Report produced by IPCC predicts that wheat may disappear from Africa by 2080, and that maize— a staple—will fall significantly in southern Africa. Also, arid and semi-arid lands are likely to increase by up to 8%, with severe ramifications for livelihoods, poverty eradication and meeting the SDGs. Pursuing appropriate adaptation strategies is thus vital, in order to address the current and future challenges posed by a changing climate. It is against this background that the "African Handbook of Climate Change Adaptation" is being published. It contains papers prepared by scholars, representatives from social movements, practitioners and members of governmental agencies, undertaking research and/or executing climate change projects in Africa, and working with communities across the African continent. Encompassing over 100 contribtions from across Africa, it is the most comprehensive publication on climate change adaptation in Africa ever produced
