Modelling CC neutrino cross sections in the few GeV energy region
Selected problems in modelling neutrino-nucleon and -nuclei cross sections in
the neutrino energy region of the few GeV are reviewed.Comment: Presented by J.T. Sobczyk at the Cracow Epiphany Conference on

Spin properties of top quark pairs produced at hadron colliders
We discuss the spin properties of top quark pairs produced at hadron
colliders at next-to-leading order in the coupling constant alpha_s of the
strong interaction. Specifically we present, for some decay channels, results
for differential angular distributions that are sensitive to t tbar spin
correlations.Comment: Invited talk given by A. Brandenburg at the Cracow epiphany

Calculation of QCD NLO Splitting Functions in the light-cone gauge: a new regularization prescription
We report on the progress in calculating NLO DGLAP splitting functions for
using the New Principal Value prescription, which is a modification of
the standard Principal Value approach proposed by Curci, Furmanski and
Petronzio in 1980. The new prescription reproduces the standard results on the
inclusive (integrated) level, but simplifies individual contributions and
restricts the cancellations between real and virtual diagrams which makes it
useful for Monte Carlo simulations.Comment: Presented by O.Gituliar at XX Cracow Epiphany Conference, Cracow

Colored Particle Production in New Physics at NLO QCD and Its Matching to Parton Showers
In this talk, I show the automated Monte Carlo simulations at next-to-leading
order in QCD as well as its matching to parton showers are already feasible
within the framework of \MG5aMC. I briefly overview the recent activities and
take the colored particle production at the LHC as examples. The tools and the
models are ready for using by both phenomenologists and experimentalists.Comment: 12 pages, 3 figures, 2 tables, contribution to proceedings of XXIII

Q^2-evolution of spin-dependent parton densities
We discuss the NLO evolution of quark transversity densities and of the
parton distribution function for linearly polarized gluons in a linearly
polarized hadron. A supersymmetric relation between the NLO evolution kernels
for transversity and for linear polarization is found. We also study the
implications of NLO evolution for Soffer's inequality and the prospects of
measuring transversity densities in polarized Drell-Yan at RHIC.Comment: 12 Pages, LaTeX, 4 figures as eps files, Invited talk presented at
