[[abstract]]Video endoscope system is a powerful tool in colorectal cancer screening. The majority of colon and rectal cancers arise from previously benign adenoma through the adenoma-carcinoma sequence. Differentiating nonneoplastic lesion from neoplasia is crucial to avoid over treatment. Narrow band imaging (NBI) is a newly developed technique utilized to highlight micro-vascular structure upon mucosa surface without inconvenience of dye spraying used in the conventional chromoendoscopy. However, both conventional chromoendoscopy and NBI need magnifying colonoscopy to achieve high diagnostic accuracy but magnifying colonoscopy are not routinely used in clinical practice. In this study, computerized polyp features are proposed to describe the suspect nodule in the conventional endoscopy and NBI image without magnification. Further, computer aided diagnosis system was constructed to differentiating adenoma from hyperplasia
