    A Mobile Agent-Based Electronic Marketplace

    The electronic marketplace is a new medium for exchanging information, goods, services, and payments. The marketplace houses infrastructure, facilitates transactions, and matches buyers with sellers. An agent-based marketplace allows corporate data to be maintained by local buyers and sellers and transferred to the marketplace only when orders are matched. This provides participating companies with autonomy and independence. This study proposes a framework of using the mobile agent to demonstrate autonomous behavior in the electronic marketplace

    An Intelligent Trade Matching System for B2B Marketplace

    With the fast growth of B2B sales, an intelligent system is greatly useful for decreasing transaction cost and increasing market efficiency on electronic platforms. In order to improve the quality of transaction processing and customer experience, this paper proposes a knowledge-based system, which employs a Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) technique for trade matching in B2B marketplace as a substitute for the manual matching process. The system function and logical architecture are discussed.     A rule-based decision support system for real estate brokerage service evaluation

    Real estate brokers or realtors are expected to possess superior knowledge of their local markets, and typically require commissions in return for their services. The evaluation of their performance is an important issue in justifying their commissions. We develop a learning-oriented decision-making process for evaluating real estate brokerage services, which concentrates on understanding the nature, the role and the interaction of the evaluation aspects of real estate brokerage service quality by integrating cognitive maps and the Decision EXpert (DEX) approach. Results suggest that this framework permits new rudiments to be considered in the realtor decision-making and sales process, facilitating transparency and understanding of realtor functions that may lead to recommendations to improve the performance and quality of these functions.
