    KONTROL PRESENTASI TELAPAK TANGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE HAAR CASCADE CLASSIFICATION

    A Presentation is an activity carried out as a delivery of knowledge by the instructor for research results and results. Presentation has become an activity carried out in almost all fields of daily work. To make presentations, a computer, mouse, and keyboard are needed as tools and a means for running slide presentations. In addition to the presentation aids needed, during the presentation someone also needed an operator to control the computer during the presentation. By looking at these conditions, we need technology that can integrate various kinds of presentation aids and computer controls during presentations. Palm detection in this study uses the Python programming language and also an OpenCV library for input processes. The method used to convert palm movements uses the Haar Cascade Classifier method. The Haar Cascade Classifier method can be used to connect objects to your palm and can arrange slides with your palm with a webcam in real time. In the detection must be determined centroid so that it can be known the number of frames to be shifted and the distance from the webcam to the object can also affect the presentation settings. However, this system has many weaknesses and must be corrected. The detection sensitivity is not too good which can be questioned by several factors, namely the webcam is not good, the specifications of the Personal Computer (PC) are low, the data set causes false positive, and lighting via influence from the background
