Novel Methods for Forensic Multimedia Data Analysis: Part I

The increased usage of digital media in daily life has resulted in the demand for novel multimedia data analysis techniques that can help to use these data for forensic purposes. Processing of such data for police investigation and as evidence in a court of law, such that data interpretation is reliable, trustworthy, and efficient in terms of human time and other resources required, will help greatly to speed up investigation and make investigation more effective. If such data are to be used as evidence in a court of law, techniques that can confirm origin and integrity are necessary. In this chapter, we are proposing a new concept for new multimedia processing techniques for varied multimedia sources. We describe the background and motivation for our work. The overall system architecture is explained. We present the data to be used. After a review of the state of the art of related work of the multimedia data we consider in this work, we describe the method and techniques we are developing that go beyond the state of the art. Identificación del grooming: análisis empírico de conversaciones con contenido pedófilo

El grooming, conducta en auge desde el avance tecnológico, se produce cuando un victimario contacta con un menor, a través de Internet, con el fin de ganarse su confianza para conseguir imágenes de carácter sexual de la víctima, satisfacer sus necesidades sexuales con esta y si llega al extremo, abusar sexualmente de ella. Durante este trabajo se ha llevado a cabo una revisión bibliográfica e investigación cuantitativa acerca del grooming, de cómo identificarlo y como detectar la gravedad de las conversaciones pedófilas vía Internet, mediante la selección de categorías de palabras concretas y diferenciando las diversas etapas del proceso de grooming. Tras analizar las conversaciones y su gravedad se ha realizado una propuesta basada en la prevención del grooming mediante el uso de un software de aplicación.Grooming is a booming behavior since the technological advance, developed when an offender contacts with one or more children, through the Internet, to earn their confidence and get sexual images of the child, to satisfy their sexual needs with him and sometimes, when the situation is extreme, the child is sexually abused by the bloke. The research of this assignment consists how identify it and how detect the seriousness of pedophile conversations via Internet. To get this, a bibliographical review and a quantitative investigation have been carried out by selecting specific words categories and telling apart different stages of the grooming process. When the analysis has been finished, a proposal based on the prevention of grooming has been made using an application software
