With the rapid development of Internet, more and more people got medical information through Medical and Health Website. However, Medical and Health Website is still in infancy, its social influence is not significant, and this new Internet technology has not been widely accepted in our country. Most scholars mainly concentrate on technology and management institution when researching the Medical and Health Website. In order to study user’s behavioral intention and use behavior on Medical and Health website, a theoretical model is built based on Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) with the consumer perceived risk theory and perceived cost. The questionnaire is designed according to the theory model. Then, the data is analyzed by descriptive statistics, reliability and validity and multiple linear regression. The results indicate that people’s use behavior is positive influenced by behavioral intention and effort expectancy. On the contrary, perceived cost has negative influence on use behavior. Perceived risk has negative influence on behavioral intention. Gender and experience have moderating effects on behavioral intention. However, it is not verified that social influence has positive influence on behavioral intention. At last, this paper provides some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the development of Medical and Health website

Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) for Intelligent Process Automation

Intelligent process automation is a technological innovation that combines symbolic automation tools with machine learning. Intelligent process automation can automate complex tasks that otherwise have to be performed by humans when symbolic automation is not powerful enough. Regardless of the high economic potential for companies, the adoption rate in practice is comparatively low. This could be due to the adoption behavior of the employees. In our work, we iteratively develop a Unified Theory of Acceptance and use of Technology (UTAUT) model for the adoption of intelligent process automation and evaluate it with an empirical study. With our research we want to empower designers to adapt the corresponding tools in the future to increase adoption. The study shows that, in addition to established factors for technology adoption, trust, transparency, and attitude towards technology are primary decision factors

In Iraq, government reports stated that the ‎adoption of Healthcare Information Systems ‎‎(HIS) is still low and below the aspirations of the ‎government despite the investments in the system ‎development. For this reason, there was a need to ‎explore and investigate the actual issues that ‎influence the adoption of HIS, and to examine the ‎effect of different dimensions (i.e. the individual, ‎technological, organizational and environmental) ‎on the adoption of HIS in Iraq. The main objective of the study is to explore the ‎factors that affect the adoption of HIS among ‎healthcare practitioners within Kurdistan Region ‎of Iraq (KRI) public hospitals. Furthermore, ‎another goal was to examine the influence of ‎different dimensions on the healthcare ‎practitioners’ adoption behavior in order to ‎produce the essential knowledge regarding HIS ‎adoption. The study used a mixed method approach. The ‎data collection started with a qualitative study ‎using semi-structured interviews with eight ‎healthcare professionals and then followed by a ‎quantitative study that was conducted among 551 ‎respondents using self-administered ‎questionnaires. The qualitative study resulted in 26 themes that ‎were elicited from the interviews. Moreover, the ‎findings of the quantitative study indicated that ‎the adoption of HIS was significantly influenced ‎by different individual, technological, ‎organizational and the environmental dimensions ‎collectively. The study revealed the actual issues (i.e. the ‎individual, technological, organizational and ‎environmental) facing the adoption of HIS within ‎the study’s new context through the qualitative ‎investigation. Moreover, a comprehensive and ‎holistic model based on the Unified Theory of ‎Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) ‎was presented. The study presented the essential ‎knowledge and information to the literature, ‎healthcare practitioners and researchers in Iraq ‎regarding the issue of HIS adoptio
