Agile approaches to Software Engineering are widely used nowadays in industry and have also reached academic environments, with universities all around the world including agile related content in their programs. There are no formal studies about the current situation of Agile Software Development in Argentinian Universities. A systematic mapping study was conducted to understand the state of agile in undergraduate curricula. Results show that Agile Software Development is part of the Information Technology and Computer Science Programs and that Scrum is the most popular agile method in that context. Enseñanza de métodos ágiles de desarrollo de software en Argentina : Estado del arte

Los métodos ágiles, gestados a finales de los años 90’, son en la actualidad parte del mainstream en la industria del software. Su popularidad ha alcanzado niveles muy altos llegando incluso a los ambientes académicos. A la extensa oferta de libros existentes sobre métodos ágiles se suman artículos científicos y escritos informales. Existen también muchos artículos reportando experiencias de enseñanza de métodos ágiles en distintas partes del mundo. Incluso, algunos de esos artículos relatan experiencias realizadas en Argentina a pesar de que los lineamientos vigentes del Ministerio de Educación, para las carreras del área de Informática, no hacen ninguna mención explícita a la enseñanza de métodos ágiles. El presente trabajo presenta un estado del arte de la enseñanza de métodos ágiles en las carreras de grado de informática en las universidades argentinas. Dicho estado del arte se estableció a partir de una revisión formal de literatura y de un estudio de campo basado en una encuesta a docentes de ingeniería de software. Los resultados obtenidos en esta investigación indican que los métodos ágiles son enseñados en el 97,7 % de las carreras de grado relevadas. El 83,8 % de los encuestados dicta sus materias de forma completamente presencial y una porción de los mismos implementa algún grado de hibridación en sus propuestas dado por el uso de campus virtuales. El porcentaje de uso de tecnologías de la información no resulta sorprendente considerando que son carreras tecnológicas y que sus alumnos son nativos digitales.Facultad de Informátic
