A universal platform for Green RFID applications development

This paper presents component-level research that has been carried out at the University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland. A number of innovative technologies such as multi-protocol RFID sensing transponder, energy harvesting, RFID transponder with a freely programmable processor, quality model for agricultural and meat products, and computing aspects, have been developed, applied and evaluated.
