Investigative Report Writing Support System for Effective Knowledge Construction from the Web

Investigative reports plagiarized from the web should be eliminated because such reports result in ineffective knowledge construction. In this study, we developed an investigative report writing support system for effective knowledge construction from the web. The proposed system attempts to prevent plagiarism by restricting copying and pasting information from web pages. With this system, students can verify information through web browsing, externalize their constructed knowledge as notes for report materials, write reports using these notes, and remove inadequacies in the report by reflection. A comparative experiment showed that the proposed system can potentially prevent web page plagiarism and make knowledge construction from the web more effective compared to a conventional report writing environment

Система для розпізнавання схожості текстів

У даній роботі було детально розглянуто методи визначення схожості текстів. Було проаналізовано типи запозичень в учнівських роботах, та методи схожості текстів, які найкраще їх виявляють. Розроблено власний метод визначення схожості вихідних кодів програм. Розроблено генетичний алгоритм, ціллю якого є визначення результівного значення схожості текстів при використанні гібридних методів знаходження запозичень у вихідних кодах програм. Результатом роботи є розроблена система, яка надає користувачу інтерфейс для визначення схожості програм. Програмний продукт був розроблений мовою програмування TypeScript.In this project for a Bachelor's Degree, text similarity recognition methods were considered in detail. The types of borrowings in students' works and the methods of text similarity recognition that best detect them were analyzed. Method for determining the similarity of program source code has been developed. Has been developed a genetic algorithm which using to recognise the resultant value of text similarity when using hybrid methods of finding borrowings in the source code of programs. The result is a developed system that provides a user interface for recognising the similarity of programs. The software product was realized in TypeScript
