Wireless networks are currently used in a wide range of healthcare, military, or environmental applications. Wireless networks contain many nodes and sensors that have many limitations, including limited power, limited processing, and narrow range. Therefore, determining the coordinates of the location of a node of the unknown location at a low cost and a limited treatment is one of the most important challenges facing this field. There are many meta-heuristic algorithms that help in identifying unknown nodes for some known nodes. In this manuscript, hybrid metaheuristic optimization algorithms such as grey wolf optimization and salp swarm algorithm are used to solve localization problem of internet of things (IoT) sensors. Several experiments are conducted on every meta-heuristic optimization algorithm to compare them with the proposed method. The proposed algorithm achieved high accuracy with low error rate (0.001) and low power consumption

AbstractThis work proposes an improved particle swarm optimization (PSO) method to increase the measurement precision of multi-sensors data fusion in the Internet of Things (IOT) system. Critical IOT technologies consist of a wireless sensor network, RFID, various sensors and an embedded system. For multi-sensor data fusion computing systems, data aggregation is a main concern and can be formulated as a multiple dimensional based on particle swarm optimization approaches. The proposed improved PSO method can locate the minimizing solution to the objective cost function in multiple dimensional assignment themes, which are considered in particle swarm initiation, cross rules and mutation rules. The optimum seclusion can be searched for efficiently with respect to reducing the search range through validated candidate measures. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed improved PSO method for multi-sensor data fusion is highly feasible for IOT system applications

Towards the Exploration of Task and Workflow Scheduling Methods and Mechanisms in Cloud Computing Environment

Cloud computing sets a domain and application-specific distributed environment to distribute the services and resources among users. There are numerous heterogeneous VMs available in the environment to handle user requests. The user requests are defined with a specific deadline. The scheduling methods are defined to set up the order of request execution in the cloud environment. The scheduling methods in a cloud environment are divided into two main categories called Task and Workflow Scheduling. This paper, is a study of work performed on task and workflow scheduling. Various feature processing, constraints-restricted, and priority-driven methods are discussed in this research. The paper also discussed various optimization methods to improve scheduling performance and reliability in the cloud environment. Various constraints and performance parameters are discussed in this research
