Segmentación y clasificación de mallas 3D

[EN] Investigate and make an approach to segmentation and classification of 3D meshes starting from geometrical, topological and texture features. The work will focus on identifying and classifying parts of a 3D object. Concretely, the idea is to identify the components from a facade (doors, windows, downspouts, etc.). First, a study of different simple patterns will be done, identifying these patterns on a 3D representation of a real building. Then, mesh segmentation techniques will be applied and a study about the different results will be performed.[ES] Investigar y realizar una aproximación a la segmentación y clasificación de mallas 3D a partir de características geométricas, topológicas y de texturas. El trabajo se enfocará a la identificación y clasificación de partes de un objeto 3D. De manera concreta se pretende identificar los componentes que forman la fachada de un edificio (puertas, ventanas, bajantes, etc.). En primer lugar se realizará un estudio de diferentes patrones simples, se identificaran estos patrones sobre una representación 3D de un edificio real y posteriormente se aplicarán técnicas de segmentación de mallas y se hará un estudio de los diferentes resultados obtenidosHerráez Concejo, BJ.
