A Linear Logic Programming Language for Concurrent Programming over Graph Structures
We have designed a new logic programming language called LM (Linear Meld) for
programming graph-based algorithms in a declarative fashion. Our language is
based on linear logic, an expressive logical system where logical facts can be
consumed. Because LM integrates both classical and linear logic, LM tends to be
more expressive than other logic programming languages. LM programs are
naturally concurrent because facts are partitioned by nodes of a graph data
structure. Computation is performed at the node level while communication
happens between connected nodes. In this paper, we present the syntax and
operational semantics of our language and illustrate its use through a number

Transforming specifications of observable behaviour into programs
A methodology for deriving programs from specifications of observable
behaviour is described. The class of processes to which this methodology
is applicable includes those whose state changes are fully definable by labelled
transition systems, for example communicating processes without
internal state changes. A logic program representation of such labelled
transition systems is proposed, interpreters based on path searching techniques
are defined, and the use of partial evaluation techniques to derive
the executable programs is described
Overview of Hydra: a concurrent language for synchronous digital circuit design
Hydra is a computer hardware description language that integrates several kinds of software tool (simulation, netlist generation and timing analysis) within a single circuit specification. The design language is inherently concurrent, and it offers black box abstraction and general design patterns that simplify the design of circuits with regular structure. Hydra specifications are concise, allowing the complete design of a computer system as a digital circuit within a few pages. This paper discusses the motivations behind Hydra, and illustrates the system with a significant portion of the design of a basic RISC processor
