In databases, much work has been done towards extending models with advanced tools such as view technology, schema evolution support, multiple classification, role modeling and viewpoints. Over the past years, most of the research dealing with the object multiple representation and evolution has proposed to enrich the monolithic vision of the classical object approach in which an object belongs to one hierarchy class. In particular, the integration of the viewpoint mechanism to the conventional object-oriented data model gives it flexibility and allows one to improve the modeling power of objects. The viewpoint paradigm refers to the multiple descriptions, the distribution, and the evolution of object. Also, it can be an undeniable contribution for a distributed design of complex databases. The motivation of this paper is to define an object data model integrating viewpoints in databases and to present a federated database architecture integrating multiple viewpoint sources following a local-as-extended-view data integration approach.object-oriented data model, OQL language, LAEV data integration approach, MVDB model, federated databases, Local-As-View Strategy.

In general, museum visitors can not fully appreciate against a collection or artifacts from the museum. Although in every museum collection has a description of the items displayed, such as signs, but the history or details behind the museum collection can not be recounted as a whole. RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is an automatic identification system for the object or person using a radio frequency signal that is non-line-of-sight, high inventory speeds, variety of form factors, rewritable tags. The purpose of this research is how to design guide tour museum system using RFID technology (Radio Frequency Identification) to help visitors obtain complete information from museum collection. The system was designed using object-oriented approach using UML (Unified Modeling Language) as a modeling language and Java as development language. From the test results found that museum visitors took 0.442 seconds to run a narrative of the collection since the system reads RFID tags that brought visitors. Museum managers also eased in the management of collection data, visitor data, and visitation data of the museum. The system also generates reports as a basis for future museum development

The availability of spare parts in a vehicle service workshop needs to be correctly recorded and recorded, making it easier for workshop owners to ensure the complete availability of vehicle spare parts. From the results of the author's observations, the Rizki Prima workshop has several obstacles in recording the availability of spare parts where the business processes being carried out are still a hassle for the employees working in the workshop. The problem often occurs when recording is the incompleteness of data related to incoming and outgoing goods. So the recording made in the ledger needs to be more accurate and requires a relatively long time to search one by one in the register if the workshop owner needs it. As a result of poor recording of goods, it is difficult for the owner to order goods again, worried that duplicating data will record incoming goods. The above problems are the basis for the authors to conduct research by utilizing information systems and modeling with an object-oriented approach using a unified modeling language to design a spare parts inventory information system according to user needs. To provide an overview of the Rizki Prima workshop transforming from conventional spare parts data recording to digital spare parts recording. The main aim of this article is to discuss how the functional and the object-oriented views can be inter-played to represent the various modeling perspectives of embedded systems. We discuss whether the object-oriented modeling paradigm, the predominant one to develop software at the present time, is also adequate for modeling embedded software and how it can be used with the functional paradigm.More specifically, we present how the main modeling tool of the traditional structured methods, data flow diagrams, can be integrated in an object-oriented development strategy based on the unified modeling language. The rationale behind the approach is that both views are important for modeling purposes in embedded systems environments, and thus a combined and integrated model is not only useful, but also fundamental for developing complex systems. The approach was integrated in amodel-driven engineering process, where tool support for the models used was provided. In addition, model transformations have been specified and implemented to automate the process. We exemplify the approach with an IPv6 router case study.FEDER -Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia(HH-02-383
